The Brisket Mac and Cheese bites were very tasty but didn't have very much meat in them. The BBQ sauce that came with them was delicious though. I saved some for my fries which were fresh, crispy and well seasoned. The gravy was also very good, it tasted of beef broth in the best way.
But last and CERTAINLY not least. The Ultimate Burger is aptly named as it could easily be my last meal. The large beef patty at the centre was cooked perfectly and topped with crispy, thick cut bacon, salty brisket with caramelized onions and BBQ sauce, all nestled upon a bed of Doritos for the perfect crunch and surrounded by a pretzel bun.
EASILY one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. If you want a delicious burger, get The Ultimate.

Here is my honest review for the two dishes we ordered.
1. BBQ Whiskey Beef Short Ribs Sandwich: It was just good, not very good. Montanas and Bonzzini has way better rib sandwiches.
2. Maple Chilli Salmon: This one was terrible. And I don’t recommend anyone to order this at all from Roots. The salmon portion was ridiculously small. It was one inch cut. It was so tiny that the waiter was apologizing and went to the kitchen to bring more. It was flavour less.
Sides: Now let’s talk about sides that came with the dishes. The rib sandwich came with maybe 12 pieces of fries. The salmon came with dry and ugly steamed rice.
Service: waiters were nice and helpful.
Overall, I had a bad experience and won’t go there again.

Zero if I could. I ordered take out. First off. Google stated the restaurant was open till 9. I called at 7:15 to pick up for 8:00. The lady who answered the phone seemed irritated from the get go. I asked for 8:00 pick up and she told me the restaurant closed at 8. Their Facebook never stated having to close early. Secondly the food is disappointing and disgusting. Posting menu item of what I ordered and picture of what I received. I got the cheesy beef barbacoa grilled cheese. Does there look to be any beef short rib in this box? $19 for fries and a sub par grilled cheese. Never again.

We order the beef skillet and toco salad. Charged us for sour cream and salsa which I thought you would get it on side as it’s toco salad. The beef skillet bowl had no flavour. The only thing we liked was the chicken starter we ordered to share at first.

I got the Roots Ultimate Burger, and it was in fact ultimate. Delicious barbacoa smothers the patty. You would think it would be soggy with all that juicy meat, but ot doesn't make the bun wet thanks to the Dorito layer under the patty. Genius burger engineering. And, somehow, its not too hefty that it makes you feel like garbage after finishing it all. 10 out of 10. Would eat again.

The best part of our visit was the Roots Ultimate Burger I ordered — the beef was very tasty, good quality, and the burger overall was enjoyable. The beer was also reasonably priced, which was a plus.
However, there were several disappointing points. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for our little one, but it arrived with no pepperoni at all — just cheese. That was quite frustrating. My wife had the salmon, which was both overpriced and very poor in quality. The portion was very small, and the salmon itself felt like a basic supermarket cut rather than restaurant quality. For the price, it really didn’t deliver in either quantity or quality.
On top of that, the prices at the restaurant were about 20% higher than what was listed on Google, which felt misleading.
Overall, our experience was mixed. The Roots Ultimate Burger and the beer were good, but the other dishes were disappointing, and in general the place is expensive for what you get.

Came in for a late lunch today and service from Chi was amazing. Our food was great, however my sandwich was missing cheese and had a bit too much sauce and cause the bun to become soggy. I was immediately offered a new sandwich to assure I was satisfied. They made one fresh to my liking and packed it up to go. Very happy with this experience and will for sure be back!

Not sure if they were short staffed or what the situation was but we waited an incredible long time for food roughly an hour and then when it did come the eggs were overcooked and poached hard even tho we ordered poached soft The hash browns soggy and the toast soft. The server was friendly and apologetic and it wasn't her fault but between the long wait and the poor quality meal I wouldnt recommend or return
