When I questioned the spice level, instead of just fixing it, the server chose to argue with me — repeating “it’s already spicy” like a broken record. After practically dragging a solution out of her, she said she could “only add tadka.” And when she brought it, she had taunted me with, “If it’s still not spicy, I can give you red chilli powder.” This is not service. This is pure attitude.
Her behaviour was disgusting — making faces, rolling her eyes, acting irritated like customers are an inconvenience.
Then came the shameless part: when I paid in cash, she did not return my full change. And when I asked for it, she actually said, “It’s only this much, do you still want it?” Yes, I want every cent of MY money. The audacity is unbelievable.
And after all this nonsense, she walked to her colleague and both of them kept looking at me and talking, clearly making fun of me. They thought they were being subtle — they weren’t.
And the final blow? After eating their food, I ended up vomiting. I literally got food poisoning. So not only was the service trash, but the food itself was unsafe.
If this is the standard at Royal Paan — slow service, rude staff, mocking customers, keeping change, and serving food that makes people sick — then honestly, shut the place down. I’m never going back, and I’ll make sure everyone I know stays far, far away from this place.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was honestly terrible. Customer service was very poor staff were not friendly, not smiling, and seemed completely disinterested. On top of that, I actually saw fingers dipping into the food while it was being served, which is extremely unhygienic. The washrooms were dirty and clearly not being maintained at all. Overall, the place felt super unclean, and it really made me question the hygiene standards in the kitchen too. The food itself was bad and not tasty at all. I took a single bite and couldn’t even continue eating it felt like a total waste of money. Customer service standards here are definitely dwindling, and management really needs to look into this seriously. I will never come back again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I did order by uber eats.When I received order I felt it’s only paper the open it and saw it’s empty almost only one fist of vegetables inside look in pictures.They really disturbed me a lot by telling lies we sent you driver he did not see anybody outside,what’s this stupid thing u sent driver without asking any address and contact number.I placed order at 6.40 pm and got 7.40 it was empty dosa.I ate it because I was hungry and complaint to them but they feel sorry and said you got refund from uber and you can place new order from uber.Hey Iam not that much free to order and wait again.Do not make stupid to customers by sending empty dosas.BYCOTT ROYALL PAAN Spread this reality news on social active medias in regina soon.You can play and make us fool.Do not waste our time.

I recently visited this place, and to begin with, the environment wasn’t very pleasant — there was no comfortable area to sit, relax, and enjoy. I ordered two milkshakes, and when I went to pay the bill, the server charged me $19, which was quite shocking because the menu listed the price as $6.50 each.
I pointed this out and said the total should be around $13 plus tax, which comes to about $15. The server simply replied that the price was due to taxes. When I questioned it again, the server mentioned that the menu hadn’t been updated.
Additionally, the milkshakes weren’t even filled to the top properly. Overall, it was a disappointing experience — I would recommend avoiding this place for dining.

It really good food for this restaurant and specially South Indian food like masala dosa and sambhar it really good .
Very bad experience, will never visit again, they don't know how much chilli and species the meal should be and maybe they doesn't tasted before serving , green coconut Chatney full of salt and no taste. Wasted money and time. Sorry, I already told the guy on counter that maybe I will not visit again if I have another option available.
