We are from out of town and thought we’d check out what the Filipino food scene is like in Regina. We decided to try out Savory Food Trip’s sisig last night and ordered ahead to take out to determine if we wanted to come in the next day to eat in for breakfast.
The lady who answered the phone was not in a good mood. She wasn’t friendly answering and seemed annoyed that I had called in to order. When we came to pick up the order, she still seemed upset that we existed. However, the guy that was there was much friendlier and the food came out quickly so we still tipped.
The food was normal. Nothing extraordinary. I liked that it wasn’t overly oily but the egg was overdone. Sometimes we’ll still give a restaurant a chance based on the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the lady’s unfriendly gestures ultimately was the deciding factor of why we won’t be giving the other dishes another chance during this trip.
I hope to find a nice restaurant here during our stay. And maybe one day in the future we’ll come again and see if yesterday was just a tough day for her.

I showed up to pick up my order at 6:30 as they told me. I get there and they say I'm sorry we haven't cooked it yet it will be ready when we close at 7pm. Terrible customer service.

Dinaguan was bland. Lots of fatty buts and swimming in oil. Rice was tough and not fluffy at all. Shanghai egg rolls had good flavour and were nice and crisp, But was lacking a sauce (ketchup or sweet chilli... anything) i had the combo#3... would not visit again

First time customer here craving for Halo-Halo. I ordered through phone, the person that I spoked with, told me he will check if all the ingredients is available. He then told me it's available and I told him I will be there in 15 minutes. I came after 25 minutes to pick up my order only to find out it wasn't ready due to lacking of ingredients. They managed to phoned me but I was already there. They could have phone me right away if they can't make my order. Also, they are not apologetic about it. First time and definitely will be the last one!

One of the best tasting food around regina… must visit of your in the area.. they have a new activity forYour kids so better to get there and don’t forget to put on a socks on your kids to have fun.. kudos to the people on savory food
