We went here for lunch and were very disappointed we ordered biscuit and farmer sausage and they pulled the meat out of a sealed bag and put it on the microwave. Our briscuit was even served with a steak knife which was needed as it was not tender and had very little flavour. This used to be our go to BBQ place but not amymore

Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying an absolutely delicious lunch.... the famous brisket meal👌🏻😋. From the moment I walked in the staff were VERY friendly and helpful with menu selections. The atmosphere was very clean, welcoming and there was lots of cool nostalgia as part of the decor. It was nice to be able to have a chit chat with the owner, Eric, and learn about the history of the restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend this LOCAL eating establishment✨️😋🌟👍🏻

Our first experience with Smokin' Okies BBQ was when they catered an event at our home for 60+ people two years ago. Not only was the food amazing, but Shirley was so patient with me along the way! We have since used them more than 6 times (I have lost count) for other large gatherings and more intimate dinners, and as recently as Christmas 2025. They are our go-to caterers as we know the food will be excellent, and they go above and beyond to enhance the experience. They catered for a large family gathering after a funeral, and their compassion and flexibility was so appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend Smokin' Okies for their delicious food and exceptional service - they will not disappoint!

This is our favourite restaurant to go to for a quick, and delicious meal. It is much healthier than fast food. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is consistently good. Because of this, it is the restaurant that we usually choose when we invite friends and family to enjoy a meal out with us, as we have never had anyone disappointed by their meal. You place your order at the counter, pay and then grab a table. They bring your meal out to you and are very diligent at refilling drinks and checking if you need anything else. Honestly, the only thing we don’t love is that the only thing they ever have on TV is FOX News. Who wants to watch news when you are trying to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing meal out? 😒

I have done a dine in and a few catering options with Smokin and every time it is just wonderful to deal with them. They are professional, accommodating and dealing with a small business owner is delightful. Food is delish, but their service is just as good.
We had a catered meal for just over 100 people. It was very easy as they came in ahead of time and took care of everything… all we had to do was get a plate and enjoy.
