I’ve been a regular Starbucks customer for over a year and have never had an issue until this morning, January 26, 2026. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing.
I placed a drive-through order for a Caramel Ribbon Crunch and a Sweet Cream Nitro. I initially paid $7 using a $5 bill and a $2 coin, in addition to redeeming points from my wife’s Starbucks app. Afterward, the staff member informed me I still owed $0.65. I handed over $1. After briefly speaking with a colleague, he then stated that I owed $1.25 instead, which I paid using coins.
Because the amounts did not seem correct, I asked for the receipt. Upon reviewing it, my wife noticed we had been overcharged, so she went inside to raise the concern. As I was pressed for time, I later went inside as well to help clarify the situation.
During the discussion, the same staff member smiled and accused me of lying, stating that I never gave him the $2 coin during the initial payment. Being called a liar in front of staff and management was shocking and unacceptable. This interaction showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and customer service training.
Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled matters. This situation was handled poorly, and the response from the staff member was disrespectful and inappropriate. If this can happen openly in front of management, it raises concerns about how other customers may be treated.
I hope Starbucks takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure customers are treated with respect.

I looooove Starbucks and I’ve been a very loyal customer for probably closing in on 2 decades here. Food and service is wonderful always, the staff always seem happy and interested!
However, as a new mom getting out on a walk with my stroller for a coffee is the ideal way for me to function. I note this because this location got rid of the handicap button to open the door and now I cannot get in with my stroller without completely struggling. I know this might seem petty however, getting rid of this amenity seems isolating to more of the population then just me, a new mom trying to exist with ease in her community.
Please consider being more inclusive and bringing this amenity back.

September 14th 2025 time 3:00 PM Girl at the window was VERY RUDE. You and not doing job right then someone has to tell you to do it right. We ordered cookies crumble frappe with no whip on the top and got a drink with regular Lid and asked her to change the lid one with the bigger mouth( we always have to tell them at the window every time) and she was very mad n rude like we have asked her to give us a free drink or we were asking her rudely. We are there all the time and no one acted like her ever. And yes it is expensive drink and customers can tell to make it right if you are not doing the job right In the picture is the lid you should serve frappe or dome lid not the regular lid .

I love Starbucks as it is, but TYDE at this location is absolutely incredible! Always friendly yet professional, gives great options or alternatives and the entire reason I drive across town to get Starbucks!

Starbucks is a global coffee chain known for its consistent quality and comfortable atmosphere. It's a great place to grab a quick coffee! Their coffee is generally well regarded, though I find their regular coffee a bit too strong. They offer a wide variety of drinks, from classic drip coffee to elaborate Frappuccinos. The food menu includes pastries and sandwiches.

Really great customer service every time and convenient parking but for starbuck standards I have to sadly review that they don’t align with the industry standards for their latte formulas. One other small blip is that they don’t have the ability to honour the Starbuck rewards or at least this location says they won’t redeem them. I’m disappointed everytime (insert sad face). It’s the only location in Canada I’ve been rejected in redeeming my rewards or the ability to scan my online cc payment (on the app) other than usage of the gift card. Honestly, I can overlook this as I don’t want to sound too picky but I suppose I’m very used to the recipe and consistency of Starbucks so I’m always a bit shocked and dissapointed with my drink orders from this location. All I really want is for this Starbucks to be a bit more attentive to the recipe standards on how many pumps of flavouring they use for each drink. That would make me a truly delighted customer. I take ownership as I know they would gladly remake my drink if I asked but I’m usually taking my first sip when I’m halfway across town. Thankful to have them in the neighbourhood and hope this can be constructive advise rather than being seen as a critism. I am truly appreciative for the friendly greetings and cheerful smiles I receive from the employees.

I go to this Starbucks location from time to time. Easy parking. They’re always friendly. This Starbucks location is one of my top locations available for our coffee orders and then settling in the patio area to enjoy our coffee. I recommend double chunk brownie and Grilled cheese as well as a Pink drink. the staff at this location are just super, they are very helpful and create an atmosphere that is special.
