I order a mocha almost every time I go to Starbucks, and I’ve always trusted the consistency of Starbucks’ standard mocha recipe. It’s a drink I know well and have enjoyed for years without needing to add extra shots or make any adjustments.
Unfortunately, this particular location has consistently disappointed me. The mocha here tastes extremely weak — there’s no rich chocolate flavor and barely any coffee taste. It’s not just “lighter” than usual; it honestly tastes watered down.
I did mention this once before, and a staff member suggested that I add an extra espresso shot next time. But that misses the point — I’ve always enjoyed a properly made mocha without any add-ons at other Starbucks locations.
I visited again today after some time and decided to give it another chance. Sadly, nothing has changed. The drink still lacks both chocolate and coffee flavor.
I strongly and sincerely recommend that the store manager review the mocha recipe with staff, provide proper retraining, and personally taste the drinks being served. Consistency is a big reason customers choose Starbucks, and this location is falling well below that standard.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvement.

3 employees working both ladies were way to rude, doesn’t even make sense to me, store wasn’t that busy.

They keep pushing people out saying that its going to take 20-30 minutes for a drink to serve which was surprising while there were no lines.

Lady wearing glasses and bandana was super rude to people for no reason. Will never ever stop by and definitely tell people to avoid this store for sure.

Hell Hound Baby

So...yeah. wow. This location has gone downhill in the last year SO fast. We went in today and the floor was disgusting and everyone was slipping on some sort of massive wet spill, the bathroom was RANCID, and the staff seemed clueless and easily confused. For a 7 dollar drink you would assume it would be made correctly, but it wasn't lmao.

We stopped in the other day when we were in chapters.
Ordered a tea and a caramel macchiato coffee. There were 3 employees working and very few customers. Service was slow considering that. Got our order to go after a bit of confusion while paying. Employee couldn't figure out how to scan Aeroplan card and stated that my card was inactive which it is not. Further, without entering the pin on my payment card their machine billed my card without any tap enabled on that card....not sure how that happens???
But the main issue was the final product. My coffee was lukewarm at best, and very literally tasted like someone had ground cigarette butts into it. Can honestly say there wasn't a hint of either coffee flavour or caramel. Had 1 sip and discarded immediately. Perhaps their machines aren't cleaned properly, or maybe with a chemical that can inadvertently transfer to beverages.....not sure but as of now the worst Starbucks I have ever had. To be fair though I would like to try this location again to make sure this experience wasn't an aberration or really bad day for their barista.
Either way it definitely wasn't hotel Saskatchewan coffee.
Would rate 2 stars for good location and typical Starbucks fare.

I love starbucks as much as the next girl but i always order ahead when im on my way to work to save time and the last 5-10 times it has done the opposite and made me late for work because they arent on top of the mobile orders. The 2 stars is because I still love the coffee and the team is so polite but just lacking in speed

I can just bring my book and spend all day at this Starbucks without getting bored! Nice and cozy place to have a coffee or matcha latte 🍵💚10/10

Usually great service but this last week has gone to shambles. Mobile pick up specifically. Drinks being made and then placed on a back counter instead of brought to mobile pick up. I stood and watched my drink sit for 5 minutes before one of the three staff realized it was there. Missing bakery items. Asked for two, only got one. Had to stand and wait for someone to acknowledge me to ask for another. Incorrect drinks - my pecan oat crunch latte was missing the cold foam it’s supposed to come with. Very disappointing. I’m not sure what’s going on over there lately.

Used to order here time to time. Only place in the city where the app will work properly for app challenges (sadly, their US HQ doesn't care about Canada). One time had a botched order via size and they made things right. Cannot say the same about the newer locations in town (past 5 years).
