Yesterday around 3 PM, I visited this Subway with my friend. Only one employee was working. She was taking an order from the customer and When we went to the counter, she asked if I spoke Hindi, and when I said yes, she refused to take our order, saying she wasn’t feeling well. I asked if another employee could help, but she said she was alone. However, she took orders from other customers who came after us because they are Canadian. It felt unfair, unprofessional, and discriminatory that she served some other customers but not us. And when she was sick why she served food to other customers, if we think about safety perspectives?

They do not hire enough employees to work at this location. Often only one solo woman working, with lines out the door during the lunch rush. For a location so close to the university I wonder why they do not hire more students. Food was good, took 15 minutes to get a sandwich though.
