As an authentic Chengduese I'd say this is the flavor as my hometown. 10/10 recommend. We even packed up the leftover sauce from each dish — it was perfect for adding to noodles the next day. So delicious!
Awesome spot & food, we usually go to Karavan & I've always been curious of this place & I'm really glad we tried it out, definitely recommend the beef noodles & braised chicken
Food was so good! Ordered mapo tofu, Dan Dan noodles, Kung Pao chicken, eggplant with minced pork, tomato and eggs. Highly recommend.
Great food. Authentic Chinese flavour. Recommend the fish. Would come again. Happy new year.
Trust me guys! Real authentic SICHUAN Chinese food! If you love numbing and spicy food, Come and have a try!
Checked this place our with a friend after seeing the article from CBC. If you're new to Szechuan food, I recommend the mapo tofu and dan dan noodles. The owner does it all - taking orders, serving and cooking. He is very kind and clearly has a passion for food! Great place and delicious dishes - I wish it was better known in Regina.
First time eating here. Just excellent. Had Dan Dan Noodles, Chicken with Szechuan Pepper and Pork with Black Fungus. All excellent. We told him we wanted spicy (and got a thumbs up) and boy, was it ever. We have missed good Szechuan food for a long time so it's great to have it finally available in Regina. We will definitely be back. Entirely run by one guy, who does the service, cooking etc. so I suspect if the place is busy the wait could be long. We went for lunch and were the only customers. Highly recommended.

I came here with my friends for the first time. As a Chinese, I would say the food here is authentic! The price is reasonable and the portion is so big!!! The owner is not talkative but very sincere. He keeps his high standard of food quality. If you like Szechuan food or just wanna try it( maybe start with mild spicy haha ) , I highly recommend this restaurant.
P.S. the owner runs the restaurant alone. It took us some time to wait, but it totally worth! So if you are short of time, maybe ask the owner for some quick dishes first.

I had an infuriating experience at this restaurant last night, and I feel compelled to warn others. I came with friends, expecting a decent meal. However, we were never informed about how long we would have to wait. Despite there being only one other group of customers, we ended up waiting for over an hour. The service was incredibly slow, but the worst part was yet to come.
When I finally spoke to the owner, I was shocked by his sheer arrogance and condescension. I simply asked how much longer we would need to wait, but when I later requested more rice, he completely ignored my request and instead told me to get back to the table because he “would lecture me on how things work here in Canada.” These were his actual words. He proceeded to "educate" me on how I should "learn from my friend who’s been in Canada for many years" and that "spending money doesn’t make you a big shot here."
To make matters worse, he went on to say that “people who recently moved to Canada are too arrogant and that mutual respect is required.” Excuse me? Who is the one not respecting others here? This is the first time I’ve ever been insulted like this, simply for asking about the waiting time. It's clear that the owner feels entitled to discredit customers, as he seems to think being an experienced immigrant gives him the right to belittle others, especially those he assumes are newcomers (which I am not).
I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior and humiliation in my life. It’s outrageous that in a place where I’m spending my money, I would be subjected to this kind of treatment. If you’re looking for a place to eat, avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you want to be disrespected and lectured on how to behave.
Save your time and dignity, and choose a restaurant where the staff actually knows how to treat customers with basic respect.

Food was fantastic. There was one guy there cooking and serving food. It was a slow business day I think. I was the 2nd customer there. Service was good. Speed of food coming out was good. Initially you may be turned off from staying since it is quiet there and the guys was initially slow to acknowledge me, but the food is fantastic. The guy working there seems shy and nice. Parking available in the back. Place appears to be clean. It is quiet. Portion size is good. The food speaks for itself.

Food was super flavorful and delicious. The spicy beef was our favorite dish followed by the dry pot cauliflour. None of us were a fan of the dan dan noodles but I think that was more a preference thing. Food took an hour to come after ordering but was worth the wait.
