Its a nice cosy place to eat with family or your date. I was my own date so I went alone 💀 I ordered the Yakitori, they offer you a set menu or you could order all the meat and veg options. Each option has 2-3 pieces. Also ordered Sushi. It was too big a size for an amateur like me to hold in chopsticks but it was good. Tasty and fresh. I highly recommend their sushi. Finished my meal with earl grey tiramisu and it was really good. The addition of mint really gives a kick to the bite. Its not overly sweet neither is the tiramisu overly powering. It has the right mixture of everything. I would recommend this place. I am happy I came here. Now I don’t need to travel to Toronto just because I crave sushi. I have a go to place right here in Regina. Th staff is very nice and ambience is soothing. They also have a nice bar and very good drink menu if you fancy variety. I would say this place is 5/5 for me! Oh I also got a Sapporo but forgot to click picture 😬 they have it on tap.

I will preface this by saying I DO NOT leave reviews...ever. I think this is my first restaurant review.
For the most part, if I have a subpar experience, I just shrug my shoulders.
In this case, I had fairly bad experience, and was also prompted to provide a review.
I was initially excited to try this place out, as I read good things about it, and love Japanese food.
While the taste was pretty good, I was terribly disappointed with the portion size and cost.
I expected it to be a somewhat expensive meal, but was pretty shocked when it came time to pay.
I ate with my wife and my young son.
I am a fairly thin person (150 lbs), my wife is petite, and my son is only 5 years old.
We ordered the kinpira, sweet potato tempura, 6 yakitori skewers, dynamite sushi roll, and salmon sashimi.
With one child's drink and 2 waters, this came to a total of $75.
Below is a breakdown on portions.
-kinpira ($5.00): tiny bowl
-tempura sweet potato ($12.00): large portion, but quite mushy
-yakitori chicken thigh ($3.50): small strip of chicken, 1-2 bites
-yakitori pork belly ($3.50): 2 very small cubes
-yakitori tsukune ($3.00): 3 very small balls
-yakitori bacon wrapped qual eggs ($3.00): 2 pieces
-yakitori zucchini ($2.50): 4 tiny 1/2 slices
-yakitori bessa mushroom ($2.50): 1 large piece
-tipsy dynamite roll ($15): large, but couldn't be picked up without falling apart (even with hands)
-salmon sashimi ($8.50): 4 good-sized pieces, but tough, with some browning on edges
What this amounted to was a bunch of starters/Hors-D'Oeuvres.
None of us were filled, and we had to stop on the McDonald's across the parking lot on the way home.
I was familiar with how small yakitori can sometimes be (I've been to Japan), but this was a bit extreme.
My friend ordered the cherry tomato yakitori, and he got 2 small tomatoes...for $2.50. That's quite the markup.
Perhaps the ramen is a better value ($14-15 small, $18-19 regular), as we saw that most of the other patrons were having it.
I may go back again to try it out, but can't see myself ever having the rest of the menu.

The sweet potato tempura was hardly edible and the dynamite roll was very fishy smelling. My guest has a ramen bowl and it has no flavor she had to pour lots of soya sauce in it to make it any good. Definitely more of a place for appies and after work drinks not so much for a family meal
The best authentic Japanese food in Regina!
I have been going here since the restaurant opened and witnessed how they raise the prices! But not because of inflation? but anyways! They do that because they put so much love & effort into all their food, which is why we keep on coming back to this place! Best food is their Karaage Rice Bowl, Aburi Salmon, and their Spicy Miso Udon!
Love their staff very accommodating!

The food was tasty, but the portion was kinda small for the price. We got sushi for $15, and it wasn't very filling. Besides the portion sizes, the vibe and the staff were great.

Finally tried out the Tipsy Samurai. We ordered the crunchy gyoza and the 2 different types of ramen. Really good food! The ramen broth was extremely flavorful and the majority of the ingredients were delightful. We did find that the pork belly was dry and tough tho. All in all, wonderful service and atmosphere. Would go back.

Between the quality food and superb service, this is a must see in Regina
Always a treat to come here. Went on a random Saturday and decided to get their Ghibli themed Omakase. It was a masterpiece.
Food has elevated quite a bit the last year or so.
