My favorite Vietnamese restaurant!!! I go there every weekend, my recommendation is the beef soup and Vietnamese sub, 2 must-try dishes here because it's so good!!!

Wait time is too long when its not busy at all. I understand that there were 2-3 delivery orders but given the situation that there were 3 workers it should have been quicker bc we came in and waited for almost 30mins before the food came out. The delivery orders came in way before we arrived btw

I've been wanting to visit Uncle Sunny's since I read the CBC story about them a few yrs ago. Today was finally the right time. About -40 outside, (they need another door to block the weather from coming in, either an inside or outside porch), I wanted some soup. The beef and beef brisket pho was the most delicious I have ever had. The broth is the best! I had to bring home my fresh roll because I was too full to finish my big bowl of tender beef and tasty noodles. My spouse had spicy seafood ramen and can't stop raving about it. We will definitely be back! I had to buy a garlic cream cheese bun to bring home and try later! I can't wait to try the subs and the bao buns. It is hard to decide with all the yummy choices.
Kid-friendliness: There was family there with a little kid and a grandparent and they all had something to enjoy. The atmosphere is very friendly to all.

I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff is wonderful and the food is hands down some of the best in the city. I've tried many things and have yet to have something I haven't liked. The Pho, subs and steam buns are a must try!

Food is amazing. In my opinion, it’s the best in the city. It’s also the most affordable. They give you a large portion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to eat Vietnamese food.
I had Beef Sate Noodles (Bún Bò Huế) here three times. The quality of the dishes were same all the time. Recommend this place for Beef Sate Noodle and Beef Noodle (Phở). I have not tried other dishes yet but I guess it is also good!

A bowl of Pho is $13, and it's some of the best I've had in the city. It's a bit more citrusy than Milus, and I think I like it more. Affordable, consistent food and great service. It's clean & welcoming inside too.
