Had the Korean beef short ribs, not as tender as expected. Coconut rice was very good but vegetables looked like mostly bok choy, onions and peppers. Would have preferred brocolli, cauliflower, carrots, but that is just my preference. Meal was hot and well presented.

New seasonal menu was ok. Jumbalaya was ok and our waiter described it as soup which is completely incorrect. Blackened chicken was tasty but it was a very small piece of chicken

Great meal , my husband's food was cool. The potato's were so good. Waitress very friendly and helpful. Price was right. Would do another New Years Eve supper there.

The waitress seemed a little rushed, did not take the time we felt she could have. We had to stop her a few times before she left our table as we still had questions or wanted to order something else to our order.

Came here for Christmas dinner with my husband, its the only thing on the menu Christmas day we waited in line outside for it to open. When we went in and sat down, we were the only people in our section. 20 minutes later, dinner starts coming out for tables that were sat long after us, one table hadn't even received their drinks yet, but they had dinner put on their table. The woman mentioned that to the Manager who served her, but he ignored her. By the time they walked out another tables dinner, the entire section was in awe and we were upset, and angry.

The service here is absolutely horrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here because you'll wait too long for your food, and others receive theirs before you will.

Absolutely terrible service. Cam for Christmas lunch at union station arrived at noon, we were the 3 group in there and seated in back. We were served our drinks and than several other tables were seated around us. After waiting for 30 min we noticed a few tables around us eating and still no food for us. If you can't handle more than 5 tables than maybe a new server is needed. Management was also part of the problem, zero communication and will never eat there again.

The decor is lovely, prices reasonable, staff are usually friendly, and I have never had a bad meal. I do miss their rainbow trout and teriyaki Caesar salad though!

Tasty and good portion size. Service was speedy but not rushed. We will use Union Station for our next pre-concert meal

The food was good, service was great, but they ran out of two different liquors for drinks that were advertised and the drinks were very slow to come, I got one of my drinks at the same time as the bill and had to take it with us out of the restaurant.

The food came out very quick! Our drinks did as well but the table beside us couldn't even get water as they were out of glasses. Our server was nice but she never cleared our plates or checked in on us. Always had someone else clear our table. Soup was good. Steaks were a bit bland. Sticky toffee pudding was not authentic at all but still had good flavour- mine still had the parchment attached though. Will absolutely come back! Service just needs to slow down and really perfect their timing etc!!

The food was excellent as always. Our server was courteous and efficient. Made for an excellent dining experience for us. Thanks.

Buckle up, I have a lot to say and most of it is not positive.

I’ve gotten a bunch of $5-$10 coupons this year but never went, so when I got a 20% off coupon I couldn’t resist. This should have been a red flag. I went to Union Station expecting a bit more of an upscale experience, only to find the vibe unfortunately matches the clientele. The most popular dish that was ordered Friday night was Chicken Fingers and Fries.

I felt extremely overdressed wearing make up and a plain black dress. The servers were also dressed extremely casual as well. I found my server to be distant and cold. Maybe it was a bad night for her, but it honestly didn’t help my experience.

The class and elegance of this legacy restaurant has long departed with the Canadian National Railway.

Now, I’m extremely disappointed in the menu. Google states this is a ā€œCanadian Restaurantā€ but 75% of the dishes in this menu do NOT originate from Canada. I shit you not, the pastas varied from Italian Bolognese, to Filipino Pancit, to Indian Butter Chicken, to Pad Thai and to Mongolian Beef. The rest of the menu had more Thai, traditional Canadian food, Korean AND Hawaiian. I’m extremely confused with their identity, it increases their costs and I find their food lacking passion.

I ordered the Mocktail Mimosa ($6) but ended up accidentally getting a Mocktail Mule ($6). My friend was willing to drink the Mule so no real issue there. But it was another thing to add to the list of problems.

For food, I got the Thai Salmon ($28). I liked their roasted vegetables… But I honestly feel this dish is lacking in passion or love or something. The flavours were decent but not delicious. I was VERY glad to get a 20% discount.

2 years ago, I was unimpressed with a large $30 slow cooked meat dish for the same reasons.

I will not recommend this restaurant. They need an identity, they need passion (in their staff and their food) and I need to get my money’s worth.

Why the Hell are you charging upscale prices for a downscaled experience?

Sunday Brunch was simple and exactly what I wanted. And even though it was very busy, it didn’t feel crowded and the noise level was comfortable. The decor is chic but cozy, the light level isn’t blazingly bright, and the servers make you feel like a regular. Over all, very good experience. Would recommend. Though with how busy it is on Sundays, you may want to make a reservation if your group is sizeable. Also, because it’s in the casino, there are no minors allowed, which can be a plus for some folks.
