Tasty and good portion size. Service was speedy but not rushed. We will use Union Station for our next pre-concert meal
The food was good, service was great, but they ran out of two different liquors for drinks that were advertised and the drinks were very slow to come, I got one of my drinks at the same time as the bill and had to take it with us out of the restaurant.
The food came out very quick! Our drinks did as well but the table beside us couldn't even get water as they were out of glasses. Our server was nice but she never cleared our plates or checked in on us. Always had someone else clear our table. Soup was good. Steaks were a bit bland. Sticky toffee pudding was not authentic at all but still had good flavour- mine still had the parchment attached though. Will absolutely come back! Service just needs to slow down and really perfect their timing etc!!
The food was excellent as always. Our server was courteous and efficient. Made for an excellent dining experience for us. Thanks.
We came for a meal before the comedy show. We had a group of 7. Drinks were very slow coming out and our waiter seemed to disappear for long periods of time into the back area. So I don't know if the slow drinks was the bar or the waiter just not picking them up. He was serving maybe 3 tables. We were getting concerned with time since we still hadn't placed our order. We told him we were ready to order but he then disappeared for another ten minutes. We finally ordered and the food came very fast and was all absolutely delicious, the food is too notch. We made it to the show but had their not been a line to get in causing a delay to the start of the show we probably would have been late.
We started with the calamari, dumplings. They were very good and imaginative. We had the Thai meal with salmon, steak sandwich, beef dips and everything was done to perfection.
Handy for going to the Show Lounge! New menu was interesting and seemed to have good options!
Great food & service! Everyone in our party was very happy with our meals & our server was excellent.
The table was ready before the reservation time, we were seated promptly. The restraint was very busy, but the waitress was very quick to come to get drinks, food orders, and check in despite it all. Definitely highly recommend.
The brunch is wonderful, especially the eggs, bacon, sausage and ham. I was too full to try the omelet, but I would do that next time. One thing to note, desserts should be on a separate table and so should salads, and make 2 lines for the hot dishes to keep it moving. The way I would serve eggs benedict is to have the egg and ham in the steam only, keep the toasts crisp and on the side, people can assemble their own. I like the hollandaise sauce kept separate. Also toast the waffles longer, use a toaster oven. or ditch the waffles and cook crispy pancakes instead, there should be strawberries as a topping. Also provide 2 small spoons in the whipped cream, one to scoop, one to scrape it off into your plate!

Service and food was excellent once again. Always nice and relaxing very easy to talk to each other.
The server was just okay. Which is why the 3 star rating. She stopped by our table almost immediately after we were seated to say she's our wautress, but then was just gone for over 15 minutes or so before she ever came back to take our drink order, she also alluded to we should order at the same time. She looked just tired or tired of the job, not sure if both? She actually never brought out our food, the manager and a totally different server did, never came back to ask how everything tasted or if we needed anything else. She only came back after plates were empty, asked if we wanted dessert which we all declined, went to grab the interac debit machine gave to one of us, then walked away yo grab someone else's tablets drinks and by then only one of three people had completed the payment transaction as we're not on staff and didn't feel we should handle the debit machine for the next person who wanted to pay. Overall the food was delicious. So 4 stars for that part. Music, was actually quite loud, could have been a bit lower, also the 3 star rating.
Disappointed, the quality of the meal was subpar for the cost. We had a table for 9, most ordered the lobster dinner at $70 per plate, way over priced for the size and quality, lobsters were way over cooked, we had 1 appetizer (mushroom caps), these were horrible..no flavour, little or no cheese..left 3 of the 6 uneaten.. The last Spike has really deteriorated, the quality of the food is not great...used to love the veal cutlets...they were a real piece of breaded slice of veal...NOW they are the chopped and formed floor sweeping. We go to the Last Spike several time a month for a meal.. but lately we have been very disappointed in the quality..
The Sunday buffet is worth the money

Congrats. Worst service ever. When you mess up an order you don’t try to justify it by telling you that you ate almost all of it. I mentioned my well done steak was medium rare. I ate around to get the most well done. When the “supervisor” and I use that term loosely came over, she immediately accused me of eating almost all and I should have requested it be redone. No apology, just accusation. She then walked away mid conversation. I don’t send food back and just wanted to make them aware. I also couldn’t send anything back as our server never appeared. I managed to order a pie from the busboy and even waited 20 minutes for that. The service and more importantly, customer service is non existent. Avoid this place.
