The Circa 27 dining room or lounge is excellent. Chef designed menus with tasty selections. Service is second to none.
I made a reservation through Open Table for this past weekend as we had a larger group (6). When we arrived I asked for our reservation and the waiter just wrote me off by saying I had no reservations and to just sit anywhere. So luckily there was one table for 8 we could sit at. Our table waiter was very limited with his interactions with us, and our meals we bland- at best. We never told our waiter as he never came to our table to ask how we were doing or how our meals were. Its too bad, for Regina the Hotel Sask is supposed to be this place groups like us come out to experience time together, without kids, which is only once a year or so. It was just an overall disappointing experience at the Hotel Sask at Christmas time.
Food took far too long to come out - particularly for lunch. Table service stretched - one server not enough - and kitchen backed up. Food just short of the usual standard.
We enjoyed our meal with friends at Circa 27. The food was good, plentiful and nicely presented. The setting is upscale casual, which we were looking for. We also enjoyed being able to hear each other. Service was also good.
We all enjoyed our meal and the Canadian whiskey shot was a nice touch. Our waitress was very attentive. It was a lively place with kids around but we could still have a good conversation. We will be back!
We had a reservation, they gave our table away. The did not have any wine glasses so a 20 minute wait for my wife's glass of wine - they forgot my drink completely. Food was mediocre at best. Service was very poor. Very disappointing as when we have been there in the past we really enjoyed it.

We had the most wonderful experience at Circa 27. I would highly recommend it. The price was great. The food was amazing, lots of accommodations for dietary restrictions. The service was great, and it was quiet. Overall, a delightful experience.
Brought a group for lunch who had never been for lunch before and they loved it! Me too (but I already knew it would be!). Only problem was....despite using the Open Table app, and confirming my reservation, the restaurant hadn't received the reservation order. So we were very lucky the ONE for 8 was empty in the full restaurant and it was exactly what we needed.

There was a table next to us that the family had a terrible odor. As much as we tried it was a very uncomfortable situation to be in. The stench was so strong that it really tapered our appetite. These people should not have been accepted in a close enviroment with such a crowd. I'm sorry to have brought this up and I understand that to turn them away for that reason would be possibly incriminating. I hope this problem can find some solution as to not happen again. Other than that it was at the best service you provided. Thank you and Happy New Year
An excellent dining experience on Christmas Day. The buffet was well stocked with delicious items. I was impressed with how many gluten-free items were available. Gluten-free desserts were available on request. The service was great. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. It was a bit loud (but this was because a 97-year-old with hearing issues was dining with us). Definitely a meal worth remembering.
The 11th Avenue Western Pizza has created a bunch of fake businesses: “YQR Hamburgers, Veggie Lover”, etc.
You’re nothing but a Western Pizza franchise- stop pretending to be something that you’re not. False advertising much?

I was seated to far from the buffet, my mobility is limited, I use a cane and it was not easy to get there and get food and take it back to my seat. We couldn't hear the musicians so we had the music on the speakers.
Mother's Day brunch was a big miss. Every thing was cold or lukewarm. Waffles tasted fantastic but they and eggs Benedict were tough and hard to cut. Hashbrowns were a highlight, not hot but the taste was good. The desserts looked amazing but were very cheap tasting like Walmart bakery. The mousses were gritty and the flan tasted like scrambled eggs. Chocolate strawberries were great, macarons were tasteless. The cost was a bit over $75 per person after tax which included 15% gratuity for a waitress that we barely saw. I have enjoyed breakfast at the hotel in the past as well as their afternoon teas but I don't think I'll be back for brunch.
