Quán Ngon Restaurant - 1769 Hamilton St

Buyer beware.
We ordered 5 grilled beef short rib spring roll vermicelli bowls. One of the bowls had a very small amount of meat on the bone; the others had mostly just bones placed directly on top of the vermicelli. The bones were cut so thinly they created a serious choking hazard — we found small bone shards throughout the dish while eating. It was not enjoyable at all.

I called the restaurant and was told they use this method to keep costs down because they can't offer better quality meat. They even admitted that other customers have called with the same complaint.

If that’s the case, this item should not be sold as-is. Either improve the quality of the meat or rename the dish to reflect what’s actually being served. Right now, it’s misleading and potentially unsafe.

This place has the best pho in town—flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked noodles. The vibe is great too, with cool neo-Asian instrumental music playing in the background. Warm, tasty, and relaxing. A must-visit.

It’s our first time dining at Quan Ngon last Feb. 14 and I would say it’s highly recommended! The food was hot and fresh with generous servings that is worth your visit. The staff are accomodating and would suggest the highly recommended menu which did not disappoint. Indeed, we will come back for more! You should dine and experience authentic vietnamese cuisine. Don’t forget their Mango & Avocado Deluxe bubble teas! 😁

This restaurant is amazing! Ive been coming to Regina for work on and off for 7 years and only tried it today for the first time. I had a spring roll and the spicy beef sate pho, it was all incredible and flavourful. The level 3 heat was perfect for me. The two staff working were so kind, friendly and helpful! I had their 18$ lunch special which included the pho, one roll and a soft drink. Great deal and the portion of pho was huge. Highly recommend!

I really like Bun Bo Hue and Goi Cuon in here. I'm Vietnamese, I always miss the taste of home. And this is the place I visit every month one time. I love the taste of this place, the staff is cheerful and polite!

The food is so nice I just ate at their Hamilton branch today. Thank you also to the very kind man SUNY he’s so kind I love also their Vietnamese coffee. Thank you SUNY for giving me another hot water and cleaning my table you’re so kind . I will surely comeback there.

Good service and food is well prepared. Dining environment of the Hamilton location is slightly better than Victoria ave. This will be my go-to location going forward.
