Absolutely amazing I have always been looking for a Chinese restaurant that has not been westernized. I have found it! Do not be fooled by its look of simplicity. The food is not simple it is ABSOLUTELY DEVINE, INCREDIBLE, AMAZING,FANTASTIC, DELICIOUS you get my point. Lol. Now for the service I have never walked into a restaurant not knowing a sole in it and walked out knowing that I had a new person that I could call a friend. Miss coco is just that person even the chef came out to say hello and make sure we enjoyed everything and just to have a chat with us. And then there is the portion size which was incredible. There were two of us we had four different dishes and they would have easily fed five. I can honestly say this was my all time favorite dining experience ever. The food was out of this world great the people were absolutely the kindest most informative and fun that anyone could ask for. Miss coco do not change a thing I appreciate you, your staff and your restaurant just as you are. ❤️ and that was just from my first experience I WILL be back, I WILL be bringing friends and I WILL be telling everyone I know how amazing I think you are.

RAVE!!! The search is over for the best chinese food in the city! Chef Mok from the Good Fortune Kitchen is back in Wan Li Food Restaurant at the University Park! 🤤 We ordered their braised pork, salt & pepper squid, and shrimp fried rice and they were superb! Highly recommended! 👍
Ms. Coco even helped translate the chinese menu for us (with pictures) and also gave me a free homemade soup to soothe my throat from cough. 🥹

Don’t rely on poor reviews from years ago, as the restaurant has recently changed ownership. It serves traditional Northeast Chinese cuisine, but you can customize your orders to suit your preferences, such as asking for no pork fat, more spice, less salt, or less oil. Yes, I’m a very demanding customer! Every time I don’t want to cook, Wanli is one of my top choices—the dishes taste very similar to my mom’s recipes. Definitely give it a try, and you’ll want to come back!
