Wann Izakaya Japanese Gastropub

We had heard it was a great spot. Sadly, it must have been an off night. They ran out of rice! After waiting a significant time for our orders, they finally confessed to the lack of planning. They made it up with some discounts. We will give it another chance.

Really tasty ramen — the broth was super flavourful and the noodles had a nice bite to them. Loved the takoyaki too, crispy outside and soft inside with a good chunk of octopus. Great spot for a casual bite, would totally come back!

Went in there for lunch ... food was excellent... the service was horrible..... the sever didn't give a shit about anything asked for water took soooooooo long 30 mins for a refill... when i went to pay I asked for boxes... she gave us a snotty look...

I would try here again... but not if that lady is working.

The service is great, very friendly staff. There's just not a lot of choices on the menu. The noodles are good they are a bit modified though. I wish I tried the bento though. The tap Sapporo was very cold, which I liked!

It was alright, have been here a few times and it was good before. The portion has reduced significantly and the food was lacking flavors

Had a large group for a surprise birthday. The service was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, hot, and fresh. Would highly recommend. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome!

I feel like the ramen could be better just a bland broth and the noodles.
Been to a lot of japanese based restaurants but there's something missing on the ramen and the Sushi portion was also very little. Would rather go to a different japanese restaurant on the city.

The soy sauce bottles on the table are not regularly cleaned, and taste of mold.

The sushi rice is often dry and flavourless.

The bento lunch box used to be great value, but has slowly declined over the years.

Come on. Take some pride in your food! This used to be a fantastic place!

Old review from 2018 - I loved Hanabi, so I love Wann all the same. The revamped interior is fantastic. I love the lunch bento box. Reasonably priced too! One of the better sushi places in Regina. Service is prompt and courteous.

Lunch with my son and future daughter in law. Was awesome! Will be back.

a friend and I came here a couple of months ago to have some sushi. the sushi was extremely dry and didn't taste right. my friend and I both felt after. the worst sushi I've literally ever had. the first and last time I will ever be coming here.
