Nothing like a good Japanese food and vibe….
They are short of staff so the server is always grumpy and rude :(
Ramen is NOT good and I have had way better ramens at an average Japanese restaurant anywhere else…

The Ramen! This is also a sushi joint and my dinner companion said the fish was delicious. But the specialty is ramen so that's what I tried. The Spicy bowl was fragrant and delicious, marinated egg like velvet and the pork belly melt in your mouth. I would have liked the noddles slightly more al dente, but the broth was so addictive I didn't really care.

Wow!! An absolutely fantastic restaurant. Great food and service. Try the bento lunch specials or the Ramen!! Will definitely be back.

Edit: I made this original review 8 years ago, and Wann is still one of the best restaurants in this city. Have gone countless times and always had an excellent meal and great service here. I recommend it to everyone.

Ordered takeout a few times. Appreciate the effort put into using recyclable/reusable packaging. Food was good.

We had heard it was a great spot. Sadly, it must have been an off night. They ran out of rice! After waiting a significant time for our orders, they finally confessed to the lack of planning. They made it up with some discounts. We will give it another chance.

Really tasty ramen — the broth was super flavourful and the noodles had a nice bite to them. Loved the takoyaki too, crispy outside and soft inside with a good chunk of octopus. Great spot for a casual bite, would totally come back!

Went in there for lunch ... food was excellent... the service was horrible..... the sever didn't give a shit about anything asked for water took soooooooo long 30 mins for a refill... when i went to pay I asked for boxes... she gave us a snotty look...

I would try here again... but not if that lady is working.

The service is great, very friendly staff. There's just not a lot of choices on the menu. The noodles are good they are a bit modified though. I wish I tried the bento though. The tap Sapporo was very cold, which I liked!
