Lots of options to choose from, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. I appreciate how accommodating they are for food allergies. The gluten and dairy free deserts are great.

Drove all the way here to see they have GF baked goods on the EXACT same baking sheet as non GF items. I would never risk eating here as a celiac.

I love the ingredients they use. Their soup of the day is always a treat, and you can't go wrong with any of their baked goods or coffees. This place is one of the best local coffee shops around.

Carrot cake was good. The cake part was very good since it had good texture and flavour. Not oily as poor carrot cake often is. It would be excellent with a cream cheese icing rather than a sugar icing.Had a sandwich but it was not worth the price. It was fine but not much more.Service was good and nice place. They just need to up their game to be more than three stars

I have been to the Citizen Cafe and Bakery a few times now over the years. This cafe and bakery has good food, service and atmosphere but for someone that has some visual difficulties or certain disabilities I it can be difficult to read the menu that is up high above and behind the counter. My most recent visit here was a good experience overall, I had a hot chocolate to drink as well a peanut butter chocolate cookie and a cake ball. Both the cookie and the cake ball were very good , for are drinks we both enjoyed our drinks but for them being hot drinks they were warm but not real warm definitely far from hot. I was also glad to be with someone who knows me well or it could have been difficult figuring out the menu. I would come back here again in the future and try some other things.

This was a great small local café. The vibe was light and fun, but the best part, as a celiac it was great to have a selection of Gluten Free deserts, cookies and snacks. I am thankful to food sensitive places like this that can accommodate Celiac in Saskatoon.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegan, and Dairy Free options

Citizen Cafe has a small menu, and every dish is well executed. The staff is the friendliest and seem to enjoy their work.

Really left this place with a (figuratively) bad taste in my mouth. I called ahead at 2:30pm to ask about their gluten free sandwiches, they said they still had a lot of options left. When I showed up shortly after 3pm, they said they stopped making sandwiches at 3pm. I told them I have celiac disease, was visiting from out of town, without a car, had called ahead to ask about the sandwiches, had just walked 30 minutes to get there and was counting on a sandwich for my dinner. On a Sunday there weren't any other places with GF food around that are walkable and open. Could they make an exception? Even a cold sandwich? Didn't need to be on the grill. I was told, they couldn't help me because they'd put all the sandwich stuff back in the fridge. Pretty disappointing.Dietary restrictions: Make sure to get there before 3pm if you want a sandwich.

Great local spot! Atmosphere was very cute and had lots of seating. I had a oat chai latte and really enjoyed it. They had lots of dietary options for people with allergies/ intolerances. Definitely would recommend this coffee shop. ❤️

Grabbed a Beets by Dre Panini to go, and it was delicious. The desserts looked great but I managed to resist. Gluten Free options available as well.
