Make no mistake, despite being a beer house, every aspect of the food has as much great thought and passion put into it as the drinks. Congress is a warm, open environment, arguably slightly under-lit, but a great place to go, none the less. The cocktails are very well made and although may not be the most appealing to those who are into newer cocktails, many fans of classics such as the Negroni, Whiskey Sour, etc. Will have their drinks made with excellent quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they make their Whiskey Sours (which I highly recommend) with an egg white froth to top it, which gives it a great texture. The food is phenomenal, I can't rave about it enough. It is more expensive than what you would usually pay at some other local bars nearby, but each dish is made with high quality ingredients and great attention to flavour. Overall, when you're out trying to find either a great dining experience, or a nice place to have some great drinks and food, Congress is always a great choice.

Food was great and also the service was excellent.. Great place for a casual dine-in with your friends, not so expensive and the place really has a good vibes on me..
The service and food were top notch. Had a great whiskey and bourbon menu to choose from too. They were good with trying to accommodate gluten-free and vegan options. Really fun place with a big group!

The food was great and the service was fabulous.I get that we just went through a serious cold snap here but to not have heat in the ladies room and then frozen pipes is inexcusable. Instead of just a printed sign on the mirror there should gave been heaters in there getting things warmed up. The only part of our visit that was not the least bit acceptable.

I got the fish and chips.Fish was decent, but to have 4 fries on the plate was disappointing. I've had more fries left on the floor of my truck after picking up drive thru. The ceasers were on point and the saving grace of the meal.

Smaller portions on "diner" plates and the food wasn't it's regular delicious filling self. We left feeling hungry and ordered take out from another resturaunt on the way home.The atmosphere was super dead and the whole resturaunt was freezing.I got the bacon burger with yam fries and it came with 8 over-cooked yam wedges and a small burger on a soggy bun.Will probably never return.

Congress Beer House consistently serves top-notch, delicious food. Our recent experience was unforgettable! The ribs were the best I've ever tasted, with a perfect smoky flavor and tangy BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes with rich, flavorful gravy were a delightful surprise. The service and ambiance were fantastic. We'll be back for more!

Things have changed... Meals seem smaller, less care going into the food. Staff is still so nice but staffing seems lower, but prices higher. Still good but lost a star from us.

I recently had a rather disappointing dining experience at Congress Beer House. While I had heard good things about their food, the poor service left a lasting impression. Firstly, my initial beer arrived at our table warm. I found this surprising, as the name states “Beer House” and proper beverage temperature is a fundamental expectation. I decided to send it back and request a replacement which I waited 10 minutes for and arrived no cooler that the first one. Then we waited a whopping 45 minutes for our Pizza. While the food was decent when it finally arrived, the subpar service and issues with the beer really marred the experience. I believe that a dining experience is about more than just the food, it’s also about the overall ambiance and customer service. Unfortunately, in the regard, CHB fell short during my visit. I hope they can address these issues to provide a better experience for their patrons in the future.
