We have been talking about trying this place for awhile and I am glad we did. The service was impeccable and it was a great place to meet up with friends. We were a table of 4 and we tried their tasting menu. The food was all excellent and allowed us to try some things that were out of our normal comfort zone. After that experience we will be back again. The cocktails were inventive and delicious.

Parking: Saturday evening was busy but we found a spot about a block away quite quickly.

Kid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly menu or atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow seating area but wheel chair accessible

We left after the drinks and appetizers and ate dinner elsewhere. I'm not sure if pickled onions (out of a jar/questionable), cured (but when) meat (not meats) = the described “daily featured house cured meats , pickles”. It did have salt sprinkled on the plate ... I guess.

Just home from what has been one of the best meals I’ve eaten since moving to Saskatoon!
My partner and I visited for our anniversary and went for the four course chefs menu, it was nothing short of delicious and amazing. The dishes have clearly been thought through and the chefs have a high attention to detail when plating so everything looked as good as it tasted. Highlight for me as a Brit was a scotch egg which was everything I hoped it would be.
Our server was friendly, attentive, wished us happy anniversary and generally just a lovely person.
In my opinion this is perfect casual fine dining, casual welcoming atmosphere with fine dining quality food.
Final cherry on the cake, the chef came and presented dessert and had some classic West country banter (if you know you know).
10/10 - I’m gunna bring my mum here when she visits from England.

Incredibly disappointed with our first experience at Food and Beverage, would definitely not recommend.

I should have known better to take the time to read the google reviews and note that the business doesn't even care to respond to reviews at all - especially unfavorable ones!

I ordered a virgin ginger gimlet, which was mostly ice with barely a few sips to drink for $11. Tasted nice, but not worth the cost. 5/10.

For appetizers - the "Pickerel Wings" were fresh, but bland - 4/10.

We expected the "House Cured Meats with pickles" to be like charcuterie - instead we were presented with a plate of a few slices of thinly sliced greasy ham and some vinegar soaked raisins - what a joke! 2/10

We ordered the "Smash Burger" without a bun and asked to substitute the tator tots for veggies instead - we were charged an extra $3 for asparagus (that the server said "they had too much of") and the plate came with only the burger patty and veg for $31 total. 5/10

I ordered the "Flank Steak" for $45. It was plated pre-sliced with jus along with a small handful of watercress. I was not asked how I would like the steak prepared, and disappointed to find the temperature was not even warm when it arrived. Waited more than 20 minutes for the waitress to return to tell her of the issue and order another drink - depsite being amongst only a handful of customers dining. When she finally inquired I let her know the steak was not up to par and she took it away. There was no apology or conversation asking if I would like the kitchen to prepare another one, or offering to remove the item from our bill. The waitress returned a while later with another steak the kitchen had prepared - which was also lukewarm and chewy AF, totally unpalatable and inedible. I did not eat more than 2 bites of this. 1/10.

When the waitress returned with the bill, I was shocked to see that the steak was still on there - our total was over $130. She presented the payment machine and watched intently as the tip options were displayed on the screen - at this time apologizing for the experience as we left a 15% gratuity.

The food was overpriced and mediocre, the service lackluster - deserving of a 1 star review!

Pretty good food but weirdly poor service. The server we had seemed like she'd never waited tables before and seemed lost (didn't know the menu, didn't have recommendations and lacked passion for anything on the menu). I expect a bit more polish for a $250 table for 2 people.

Went to F&B for my birthday celebration dinner. I have been very eager to visit since I am a huge foodie and love trying new restaurants. My bf wrote birthday dinner on the reservation but was not mentioned upon arrival, which I don’t care about but he noticed.

Atmosphere: it was ok, I mean it’s clearly the exact same as sticks and stones which is fine. Looks clean and well kept.

Drinks: I got their special Caesar and another drink which I can’t remember the name. Both were good except they were both HEAVY on lemon juice and lime juice. They were both so tart that it really had no other flavour. I liked the garnish on the Caesar and the other drink was pretty but honestly only tasted of citrus.

Food: found everything good, however just ok. Kind of bland in my opinion.
The appetizers were the beef scrumpet and tartare. Just lacking salt and pepper and unmemorable afterwards.

My boyfriend got the burger with tots and the tots were burnt burnt. Problem I noticed, is the oil hadn’t been changed I noticed it on my garnish for the Caesar and then again in one of the appetizers. The beef scrumpet.

My bf didn’t want to complain so he just ate the tots like that but they were very burnt.
Next time I will make sure to say something but I think the oil was old.
I got the pickerel as a main and again it was good but just ok. Nothing crazy special about it. Seasoned well and the pickerel was done well but I don’t see it as a $40 plate. Also the website hasn’t been updated so they didn’t have a few items that we wanted and the ingredients have changed.

The crème caramel was amazing however we were given spoons and the strawberries are impossible to cut or pick up because they kept sliding all over the plate. You either eat the strawberry whole or nothing. Which is fine but we wanted to have bites of strawberry when we ate the crème caramel. Maybe they would be better macerated or in pieces?

I will come back to try more appetizers as I saw the table next to us with multiple appies and I think it would be better as an appetizer spot for us. Bit disappointed as it was over $200. Probably won’t visit for a while.
The service was good.

Great food! We had the four-course tasting menu and were very impressed. The smoked butter dip is just outstanding, as were the fried brisket croquettes. Food was a bit slow to out due to a group event that night, but our server checked in regularly and made sure we were all happy. Great food and great service.

The food is fantastic and the menu is changing all the time. So you will never get bored. They need to update their website though. Menu there was not the same as what was offered at the time.

Did the tasting menu. The trout starter was so flavourful and very satisfying bites. The potato wedges with espuma and house made ketchup were great as well. The espuma is so great. The risotto was also a fantastic tasting dish. The meat course was good not great. Having fries after the wedges was not our favourite. The meal ended with seabuckthorn sorbet (delicious and tart) and crème caramel with whiskey raisins that was simply perfect. Great cocktails and wine too!

This is a wonderful cozy spot for a date night. We had the Chef Tasting menu which was full of variety. We also enjoyed sitting at the table across from the pass where we could see Chef work. A great experience.

Just a rinse repeat of the Ayden’s/sticks and stones/little Grouse. Food is skippable but the drinks are worth a stop.

Nice menu and atmosphere! Strange that the kitchen closes an hour before closing time - not an ideal practice. Fish wings are awesome, burger is ok but the drinks are nice!!! Service is ok - not really welcoming. I miss Sticks n stones

The portions were very small and we had asked for gluten free options and they recommended the gnocchi. They brought it out without the gnocchi, saying they had been mistaken that it was gluten free, so they added extra apple?!? The food was decent, but the tiniest portions and we left hungry after having starters, mains and a shared dessert.

We enjoyed another amazing meal at F&B! Started with the beets for an appy, we each had the steak which was cooked to perfection and finished off with a delicious creme caramel. F&B is a favourite restaurant of ours and we highly recommend it to others!
