Pays a premium for the atmosphere. Otherwise service and drinks (I had london fog and chai, on two occasions) are mediocre at best: Not the most attentive staff (stays in the back) and diluted, weak-flavored tea lattes. Vegan lemon blueberry loaf was bland and dry.

I’ve had this downtown coffee shop on my list of places to try for probably a year! I’m sorry it took me so long — what a great spot for delicious baking and food. Cinnamon buns are my “thing” and I’d been skeptical of the praise this place had received for theirs, but it was well worth it!! They were big, juicy, and delicious! It didn’t hurt that a batch had just come out of the oven! To start, though, I had a bowl of their tortilla soup. It had delicious flavour and came with two large homemade rolls. However, it was 1:30 pm before I ordered it, and the soup was not very hot. I’m sure I could have had them warm it up though. Also, the large bowl of soup was $10 which seemed a bit on the high side, but I guess most places are similar cost-wise. The service was very accommodating, and the atmosphere was really nice — as nice if not nicer than other downtown coffee shops. There was lots of seating and it was pretty quiet until 2:30 when some downtown workers stopped in for their breaks. Overall, I’m impressed and will be back! As a side note, they also sell Twin Peaks ice cream!

Stopped by here to pick up a treat for my neighbor and ordered two cinnamon buns. They gave me 3 by mistake (did not correct them) and they were so incredibly good!

I had the breakfast bun in the past and was impressed by how delicious it was. I had one today and I was very dissapointed as it tasted horrible! It seemed as though it had been sitting under heat since morning and this was already 245pm when i walked in. My bun was very hard and crumbled all over when i took a bite and on the inside, dry and unappealing. Too bad!!

Ordered lunch for all our staff today. We ordered Stuffed Buns and soups. ❤️ It was absolutely fantastic! The most efficient and friendly service we've experienced. Everything was packaged & labelled perfectly and of course delicious! We are so lucky to have such great local places to enjoy.

Delicious lunch special! The pulled pork and caramelized onion bun was very good. I'm a sucker for puffed wheat cake and my husband can usually take it or leave it, however after trying a piece of mine he declared it the best he ever had, had half of my piece and couldn't quit raving about it. Our coffees were artfully prepared by friendly helpful staff. I highly recommend checking them out the next time you are downtown and are wanting a quick, good lunch or a coffee and sweet treat
