It was our first time at POP Wine Bar and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was well informed on the food and bar options, her recommendation of food and wine pairing was spot on! We will be back.
The bison tartare was the best I ever had. The other dishes we tried were good but not outstanding. They only had one variety of oysters; I like to have at least 2 types to correct and contrast tastes.
I really wanted steak frites last night and after looking at the websites of numerous restaurants and chains I was surprised to see that Pop Wine bar served it. I love everything “Christie Peters” so we headed out. Best steak frites I have had in a very long time (and we just got back from Montreal). I asked for the salsa verde on the side because I usually don't like anything extra on my steak but I ended up dunking my steak into this fresh delicious sauce. The truffle...
