Great atmosphere and food
At first I was like “$20 for a sandwich? That’s insane”, but then I got my food and it was so so tasty! Great coffee, great food, fully worth it 🤩

Absolutely love eating here. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is great, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Would recommend anyone to eat here. Their desserts are delicious and decadent.

Called to ensure we could have a table, they indicated it was available and there would be no wait. Drove across the city and was told I needed to wait 30 minutes with no accountability for the conversation I had 15 minutes prior. Very disappointing service.

Located within McNally bookstore you will find this little cafe style restaurant.
You arrive and wait for seating. They offer table service. Menu is smaller, but has some very interesting finds and something for everyone.
I had the Brie and date grilled cheese with the pear and blue cheese salad! The grilled cheese was really tasty chock full of bacon. The salad though wasn’t really my style. I found the blue cheese added a weird taste to it and I will not get this option again. Thankfully for you, they have plenty of options as side dishes ! I also can’t blame them for trying new things, so I applaud you for that!
The wait time wasn’t long despite being busy. They have an extensive drink menu which is a nice treat for that cafe book store vibe. They also have quite the dessert counter. I ordered a cinnamon bun to go- yet to try so yet to rate!
I will likely return, I think it’s a nice little addition to a trip to the bookstore. I just wish it was a bit quiet but I suppose that can’t be the case if they’re a thriving busy business!

I've been here so many times, it's honestly a staple (or should I say a bookmark 🤔) in our dining rotation. The food here is always phenomenal and it always amazes me how creative a small little restaurant in a book store can get! There's always specials, but the regular menu is top shelf too. Take for example this Salted Caramel Bailey's Creme Brule? 10/10, smashed the whole delicious thing! The servers here are young, but they do a good job for being relatively new in their career paths, and the kitchen is producing quality like you'd expect in any fine restaurant.

The Arugula salad had way too much dressing on it! It would have been good otherwise. My husband's sandwich was good.

Zoey the server was wonderful and quick with drinks. the space is wonderful, cozy but bright, managing to capture the hum of conversation and space to read a book. the salmon cakes were delicious and bright with flavor. can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu. very impressed with the staff, wonderful service and excellent food at Prairie Ink Restaurant

Corey, our waitress was amazing! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just so welcoming!
This Oregonian from the United States will be coming back to visit.
Amazing tomato cabbage soup and Caesar salad (just needed to ask for dressing on the side, I don’t like too much). The soup was very fresh and flavourful as well as the Caesar dressing and croutons. You could tell it was house made. Will totally be back.
