Do not order the brisket and Mac and cheese. The meat was indescribable and not brisket. More like fatty bacon and dried jerky. Tried to phone later. No one answered phone.

We love going to Berry Barn! This time, we came for Thanksgiving lunch buffet. They had a wonderful selection of food. It is always cozy coming here especially at this time of wolf year with the fall colours and the nice drizzling that makes the experience more cozy.
We indulged ourselves with some turkey, ham, cabbage rolls, pirogies, sausages and all the fixings you want. The mashed potato was a big winner for most of us. Oh and let’s not forget about the dessert table…The pies, waffles, puddings and the crumble were all so good. What would have tied everything though would a few soups to choose from.
Oh and we missed the big babies(Bernese Mountain dogs) roaming around, maybe i was too much rain for them.
Lastly, props to the serving crew, everyone was really accommodating and very pleasant even though we know they already had a busy weekend to begin with. Keep it up and we will come back over and over again!

A little rustic. Great little gift shop and pumpkin area set up. Food is basic but good.

Today for truth and reconciliation day my family of 4 went to enjoy the Berry Barn. We enjoyed brunch and proceeded to buy Pierogis, sausage, strawberries and candy from the gift shop (spending close to $200) in this economy that’s a lot but it was a treat day :)
Upon leaving - I ran inside to fill my water bottle (since my 4 year old son was thirsty). They were quick to tell me no and that I can go stand in line to buy water at the front. I understand that Berry Barn is a place of business, but this was just overall very disappointing considering we just dropped a ton of money there. Do better Berry Barn, your a staple in our city and the service people receive goes a long way to both the residents and travellers to our city.

Great spot. We were sitting in the sunroom patio with a view of the river and it’s was beautiful. Service is decent. Food is not bad, you go there for the vibes and to try the Saskatoon berries. Cheese cake with Saskatoon berry topping is a must. They don’t have specialty coffee.

I had the soup which was AMAZING but I'm giving a 1 star review for the meal my friend got. He ordered the brisket scrambler. Not only did it not look appetizing he ate the eggs and that was it because it was drowned in some kind of sauce, the brisket was more like stew meat. They also charge 3+ dollars for a fountain drink that comes in a small cup and you're only allowed one refill or you're charged for another drink. Very disappointed with the experience (aside from the mushroom soup)

Absolutely awful. Booking for 14 and only two people were satisfied with their meals. I had the mushroom and cheddar chowder which was inedible. Butter after taste snd what appeared to be canned mushrooms-absolutely uniform in size and slice thickness, pale yellow colour and rubbery texture. Told by the writer that they don’t use seasoning when preparing the chowder there is salt and pepper on the table. Others had raw steaks and charcoal ones which were supposed to be medium rare. Salmon black and dried out on one side. Chicken also burnt black. The attitude of the “host” was “I’ll pass it on!” No “can I get you something else , nothing.
Nice range of gifts etc but over priced.
We had really been looking forward to our visit but could not recommend it to anyone else at all.

Restaurantji Recommends
The woman with dark hair at the entrance is consistently rude and in a terrible mood. Her attitude sets a very negative tone from the start — completely unacceptable for someone working in hospitality. The food is average at best, nothing memorable, aside from a decent Saskatoon berry sauce. The place looks nice, but it’s not worth the long drive just to be treated with such disrespect. Absolutely not recommended.

Probably the only place (in the region and the world) where you can get the freshest Saskatoon Berries from the garden to your plate and that too in every possible dish you can’t even imagine!!!
Amazing infusion of the local specialty into everyday food makes them taste sooo much better and unique… awesome stuff.
Their variety of pierogis is unmatched and they all have a unique texture and taste. Also enjoyed the Saskatoon Berry Pie and the Lemonade which made it a whole different level of experience. The location on the banks of the river and the adjoining farm and greenhouse are added bonuses for visiting the place for a relaxing and refreshing time.

I bought a purse for my Granddaughter. The zipper broke in 2 weeks. The purse cost $65. When I went back to return it I was told no returns. I was told the supplier would be informed. I was not helped at all! Pretty poor customer service…
Had dessert and coffee very good
