Sugar Shack is a lovely spot in Saskatoon for anyone with a sweet tooth. The desserts are fresh and tasty, the coffee pairs perfectly, and the staff make you feel welcome. Cozy atmosphere and a great place to relax with friends.

Stopped in for ice cream in June 2025 and damn as soon as I saw the menu I wished we'd come earlier to enjoy lunch as well. There is talk of smash burgers, hot dogs, many delicious things.

But it was closer to dinner and did not want to ruin appetite so only ice cream it was. I had the cookie dough in a bowl, my father had the soft ice cream (only vanilla is possible). We were both pleased. The weather was great, sun was beaming down on the nearby tables,...

4 stars strictly for DJ himself- he was there alone (i got there around 9 pm with a decent amount of people there already, so couldn’t imagine how it was before) and still had the best service and was super upbeat! Not giving full stars bc he should not have been alone downtown on a friday night for many reasons. He made over 10 orders easily with a very short wait time and deserves recognition for it!! (and a raise tbh)
