This place is beautiful! The atmosphere is light and fun. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. They also have fries for my picky eater. I ordered a few different dishes for some variety and I’m so excited for my lunch leftovers today.Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian options available.Dietary restrictions: So many Gluten Free and Dairy Free options! It was so easy to order!Kid-friendliness: They have a few options for those pickier eaters that don’t enjoy Indian spices.

Open about two months, Masala Bay has taken over the former location of a gas station pancake house. Unfortunately, it is still a big restaurant attached to a highway gas station. I stopped hoping for some sort of Indian highway lunch place. Instead it is setup as the sort of place where large groups would come to celebrate and share dishes.It was very quiet when I arrived at 1 PM on a Thursday. First thing to greet you is a big sign asking Wait Until Seated. I am surprised they didn't ask if I had reservations.Big menu but it could really use some combo meals or lunch specials. This seems to be a general thing with Indian restaurants in Canada. No expectation that someone might stop there alone for lunch. I had a seafood combo platter with spinach paneer naan. The fish pokhara and prawn pokhara were good but squid rings were too chewy for me to eat. I did like the naan.All in all I would probably enjoyed it better in a large group with Indian friends. Unfortunately I don't have a large group of Indian friends.

Me and my wife pay a visit to masala bay tonight we really like the food, service, and environment of the place. We really like the service of Krishna the man who served us the food. The way he took the order or served us was commendable.

We tried the food this weekend from Masala bay in Swift Current and it was the best food we've had in Swift Current. We were actually hoping to have atleast 1 good restaurant that can serve that authentic Indian food in Swift Current after trying couple of other restaurants and we finally have it now. Highly recommended if you are also a food lover. Thanks to the Masala bay team and specially the chef for the delicious food and you are getting many more referrals from us.
