So I've never been to Saskatchewan before. But if this place is representative of the whole province, it's my favorite. Everyone was so nice to us. They even turned on American football for us even though hockey was on. And there's so much to do in this place, gamble, pool, darts, kokanee, etc. There's so much cool memorabilia on the walls, a beautiful enclosed porch area, a big screen, plenty of other tvs, and great food. Thanks for having us Grace!
We are new in town and heard about the Wed wing special at Peppertree. Went to the restaurant and sat down. Were told that we could not have the wing special unless we moved to the lounge area, so we did. We found a table in the lounge and after 10 minutes or so the manager told us he was moving us to another table that was smaller, despite the fact that there were only 2 other tables filled. We ordered 2 orders of wings and were told we also had to order an alcoholic beverage...
Had the fish tacos, no spice or seasoning, fish was deep fried battered like fish and chips.
No salsa, no hot sauce, no pico de galla, not even salt/pepper seasoning. None on the table either. Served with tartar sauce which had a hint of flavour and medley of pan fried chopped vegetables. Tiny flour tortillas also lacking flavour, tasted freezer burned.
Staff was friendly and helpful but as was busy did not send food back. Atmosphere was typical...
