“It was a cold and blustery day on 2nd Ave North, in downtownn Yorkton, late in the winter that wouldn’t end, not long before the start of a Blue Jays afternoon tilt, and I happened to stop in front of the Yorkton Hotel. There was, inside, the signage promised, a sushi restaurant called Arigato, and, most importantly, a bar. Named Rayzr’s Pub. Well, any pub with a name like that needs to be investigated. And check it out I did. It had the usual pub accoutrements: a bar you could belly up to, pool table, what passes for music these days on some very impressive speakers, etc. But off to the left was an area that wouldn’t have been out of place in Studio 54, back n the day, as they say: comfy looking couches of faux (I assume) black leather, with a big screen tv providing the fireplace role. No brainer. That’s where I plonked myself down. A very personable and congenial bartender by the name of Andrew - who had the vibe of someone who has some pretty good late night stories to tell - brought me a beer and a menu for Arigato., and swiitched the channel to the Blue Jays game. The Blue Jays fell to the Mets, but hey, it’s early n the season. And I did have a plate of the best calimari I’ve ever had, Goddess truth. I love this pub. It is most definitely ‘on the hand’. I look forward to returning.”

“Absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors and aromas are a delight to the senses. The menu is extensive and mouth-watering . The Mango chicken and Kaju curry with Basmati rice and Naan is a meal you will be sure to savor. My wife loves the plain Naan, while I prefer the Garlic naan. They offer 3 spice levels, sure to accommodate any palate. Service was very pleasant, tending to our every need with a smile. We look forward to dining here again and again.”

“Best place for breakfast and brunch in Yorkton.
Excellent staff and top notch service. Endless coffee and of course mouth watering food. Yummmmmm. The menu is quick, precise, and down to the point….Straight up breakfast.
From Belgian waffles to my favorite the “Mexican omelette” they got you covered.
Don’t bother going to Humpy’s. Take your time and seat yourself and let the menu read your stomach. 😀 Oh yea there is tables in the back if it seems full. They are open from 6am-2pm Mon-Fri and 7am-2pm Sun
Don’t worry about the noise either. I could tell the locals feel comfortable. Good food and conversation is a must.
They are definitely not grumpy here.”

“Ordered wonton soup and Shanghai noodles and both were so delicious (you can see that we enjoyed some already), I’m personally obsessed with how plump and perfectly chewy the shrimp was. Service wasn’t overly welcoming but wasn’t rude either, it was nice. Had an issue with parking but the food and price was worth it.”

“Great place to eat when I'm feeling like something healthy. Soup and sandwich combo and a delicious cha cha dessert (strawberry, whipped cream and cheesecake) is always my order of choice. Turkey sandwich is my favourite, which is prepared with real turkey meat.”

“Tried Burger King for the first time as a last option during our overnight drive, and it turned out to be a great experience! The guy at the drive-thru was super cool — he made a veggie burger, explained everything clearly, and even customized it Indian style for us.

The food was really awesome, and I truly appreciate the customer-friendly approach and the willingness to help, especially since we weren’t familiar with their menu.

“Wings has always been know for good Chinese food. Always consistent in what they sell. They have never been a restaurant to be fancy or have amazing customer service. You can dine in and they bring you your food but its not where you get table checks and asked if your food was good. No liquor just regular drinks. The food is awesome of your looking for good Canadian Chinese food.”
