We are regulars. We like the specials that bring variety to the menu. Food options include items fully cooked on a flattop grill, poke bowls, sushi, and some deep fried options.

Today (Aug 3, 2025), for the first time our food was good and not great. Our rice was slightly undercooked.

One of the best Edo’s I’ve been to. The employees are fantastic, the restaurant is clean and the food was fast and fresh. Highly recommend.

We showed up less than 10 minutes before closing and were greeted with a friendly welcome from the two workers in there. They didn’t rush us while ordered and made all the food fresh. Greatly appreciate such good service.

Not a huge fan of the fake frozen tofu and gyoza.
Also wrong use of mushrooms, as well as small portions for bento.
I will however complement you for taking sanitary seriously.

Tried a chicken noodle bowl. I wish they had another sauce because teriyaki is not the king of sauces for me. The bowl was almost $15 and not worth it in my opinion. The mango bubble tea is horrid. Service was ok. I won’t be rushing back here. I prefer my Japanese food cooked by Japanese people.

Was craving for some Teriyaki and got this “sumo sized dish”. It was delicious. Service was also excellent and the bubble tea was good as well.

I'll have to keep in mind to order less sauce next time I eat here. Less sauce and more meat. Paid more than I was expecting to for a bowl of noodles.

I got take-out veggie sushi. That was my first time there but I plan on trying more menu items next time. Great place, great location.

Ordered from here and was hoping for something great, but after receiving the food , I was somewhat disappointed. Rolls were ice cold from being stored in a fridge. Also missed out on my request for extra wasabi, and the price was too much for the quality of the product. You cannot disguise the food with copius amounts of crumbs and sauce. Thanks anyhow. You tried. Busted!

I've been to a few Edo's in Winnipeg, and they were delicious! Steaming hot and cooked fresh right in front of you. The Edo in Yorkton is just not as good. I've ordered through Skip The Dishes a few times here in Yorkton since they have opened, and something was never right. I thought I'll go in and order directly, and hopefully, the food would be better. However, the man at the till had a haughty attitude and very poor customer service skills. This was unfortunate because he was the one to prepare my food as well, which seemed rushed. My food was warm at best. They cook it out of sight at this location. No love put in to it at all. I won't be returning to this location.
