The 101st Airborne 2 BCT Dining Facility consistently sets the standard for what a military DFAC should be. The food quality is excellent—hot, fresh, and well-prepared—with a wide variety of options that actually cater to different dietary needs and preferences. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast before PT or sitting down for a full meal, the portions are solid and the choices are always appreciated.
What truly makes this DFAC stand out is the staff. The cooks and workers are professional, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they do. You can tell they care about Soldiers and understand how important a good meal is to morale, readiness, and overall well-being.
The facility itself is clean, well-organized, and efficiently run, even during peak hours. Lines move quickly, and the atmosphere is positive and respectful. This DFAC plays a huge role in supporting the brigade and does an outstanding job every single day.

“The crescent rolls went so fast, couldn’t get pictures & so good. I ordered the half ribs, fall off the bone tender & very good. Hubby got the buffalo wraps, careful eating those open ended & messy. Clean & friendly staff. Food came out quickly. We got there at 2:30, was seated right away.“
