“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“Place has that cool 50's soda shop vibe that our parents grew up with. 2nd time here. I have gone meat & 2 ($13.99) each time. For this stop, it was turkey and dressing. Turkey was plentiful and tender and the dressing was good. Gravy was odd however. It was almost in a jelly-type form which was kind of odd, almost like it wasn't hot enough to liquify. Maybe it is jellied by design but I just found the texture/consistency odd. Anyway, pinto beans, cucumbers and onions and cornbread were good. Would get them again, but likely not the T&D. Wife had patty melt ($6.99) and a caramel shake ($6.99) and she enjoyed both. Onion rings came with the patty melt. Some were good, some were well-done. Total bill was $42 plus tip. Server was ok. Didn't come across as friendly at times, but was around enough to provide good service. When it comes to parking, I am not sure where you go if you're not lucky enough to get a spot on a meter or in the tight little free lot beside the building. I am sure there must be other options nearby. All in all, we'll go back again.“

“I come here specifically to hear Miss Valeri Lopez sing every month!!!! Literally the highlight of my Friday nights. Her voice is INSANE and she never misses. Also, the espresso martini and truffle fries are perfection! The vibes and atmosphere are upscale and elegant. Such a fun night. Cannot wait to hear more from Valeri! Favorite date night spot.“

“We arrived at the Nashville location. Was told there was a 20-minute wait, we said OKAY and was seated. The greeter told us that they only had 1 cook and 1 waitress. Our waitress Tasha informed us that she was the only one to serve the entire place. We fully understood and look over the menu; she served everyone their drinks in the place. She took our order. We got are food and it was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfect, and our friends had the county steak, and it was amazing. My wife had the slow cooked roast beef, and she said it was outstanding. Overall, for having a short staff, they did amazing job. Tasha went above and beyond she tasks. I just wish other places would see and do what she did for her customers. We highly recommend this place and will return again.“
