“So good I had a hard time choosing what flavore I wanted. It's so nice to have a good selection of vegan ice cream flavors. I went with my favorite mint chocolate chip but tested the Carmel/coffee or something like that which was very good and made the choice a hard one ;) My husband and I Sat outside and watched the volleyball players while we enjoyed our treat. He had the cookies and cream and said that he wouldn't have even guessed it was dairy free.“
“Absolut fantastisches Essen, serviert von äußerst freundlichen Mitarbeitern in einer wirklich netten Atmosphäre. Hier merkt man, dass das Essen mit viel Liebe und mit viel Innovation gemacht wird. Ich bin selbst kein Veganer oder Vegetarier, werde aber auf jeden Fall noch mal in dieses Restaurant gehen, damit das Essen vorzüglich geschmeckt hat“
“10/10 experience and the staff were courteous and affable. Very small, intimate place. We mingled with other customers, met a couple of very cool people, and got recommendations for foods to try; I had the hot SoulChik plate and my partner had the regular SoulChik plate. They were both delicious. We also had the v-licious taters and finished our dinner off with blueberry bread pudding and coconutmilk ice cream. We will definitely be going back.“
“We had the vegan GF biscuits and gravy and bought a few treats. Biscuits and gravy we tasty, filling (as it should be), and lots of pepper (which we like). Pineapple upside down cake was fantastic, chocolate brownie was the same as make at home (still good), and the other cupcakes we tried are yummy.“
“Wat hebben we hier lekker gegeten! Ik had de Ceasar wrap en heb meegegeten van de spaghetti. Allebei erg lekker en daarnaast kan je de maaltijd nog aanvullen met verschillende sides gerechten. De dames in de bediening waren erg vriendelijk en hielpen graag mee met de keuzes van de biertjes. De locatie moet je wel even zoeken, omdat het in East Nashville is en niet downtown, maar ik vond dit een fijne aanvulling op onze ervaringen downtown.“
“We were visiting Nashville and came straight here from an early morning flight. Our biscuit sandwiches were great. The menu and the spot are small, but it works because the focus stays on the biscuits themselves. I wish this place existed close to where I live.“
“Run don’t walk. I am not even vegan (just dairy free). This was stupid good. I live in the neighborhood…how I have never even heard of this place is beyond me. It’s a little unsure outside, but trust me. Place your order, sit in your car for 10 minutes, die of happiness when you eat the agave chic’kn sandwich. Wow wow wow.“
“Loved these tacos. They were pretty generous in terms of portions, and they did not skimp on flavor. The tortillas were outstanding. My favorite was the side of esquites. Unfortunately we were just visiting Nashville and can't eat here all the time.“
“I guess technically it is a dive bar, but it is not dark or dingey. They do have a full bar and a good drink selection. The food has been hit and miss and they seem to frequently be out of things. The bartenders are usually good and the service is pretty good. Check out this hidden gem (but don't tell anyone).“
“Y’ALL cook your good tails OFF ….. like wtf …I’m am WEAK with fullness. I had the lamp, Mac and cheese, fried plantains, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and shrimp …. YUP ima a fat tail and I ate it ALL !!!!! And the Sorrel was amazing …. Geeeez why would you Cook like this?!. I love y’all.“
“My husband and I always order pizza from lavera. But last night he surprised me and ordered pasta and let me tell you, WOW!!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious and mouthwatering, fully satisfying in every way. He had the baked ziti and from what I tasted of his it was also way past par. Both had a lot of sauce which is great bc a lot of places skimp on the sauce. We also had the garlic bread and it was literally the BEST garlic bread we've ever had. I'm telling y'all, if you want amazing pasta but not break the bank then order from La Vera. They always meet and exceed our expectations“
“When I tell yall I almost CRIED eating their chicken strips, I mean it. I haven’t had a vegetarian or vegan chicken strip that tastes like the real thing since I stopped eating meat. We were visiting all the way from Arizona and made it a point to stop here. I’m glad we did!!!“
“LOVE IT HERE!! food: I got the BC bowl and it was sooo good. Acai bowls are my favorite food and they have great ratio of topping to smoothie. (to compare- grain and berry has too much granola and more toppings than smoothie). The bowls here have more smoothie per bite/equal amount of topping. parking and ambiance: Easy parking! free parallel street parking all down the street, i've always been able to find a spot easily. Super cute inside, fair amount of seating, good place for studying. bathrooms towards the back.“
“Absolutely Amazing. Well worth the drive. Enough spice and very good flavor and Customer Service on Point. Thanks for the experience, it was a very enjoyable one. I had the Vegan Birria Tacos. Dipping Sauce...Banging.Vegetarian options: Vegan options are plentiful...All plant based.“
“I love the juice selections. Snap is my favorite but I also love happy and Cya. My grandkids love it too. I don't spend a lot on coffee so I count this as my treat during the week. Highly recommend their juice. I shop at the location inside Hendersonville Produce.“
“This has recently become one of my favorite plant based spots in Nashville after trying them at Hunters Station last weekend, then having my boyfriend go back later that night and the next day to grab us food. The fish sandwich tastes exactly like fish and the cheesy potatoes compliment it to well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they open up on a more consistent basis but for now I’m ok with stalking their insta page to see where their going to be. 10/10“
“No disappointments, a solid 5. I ordered the kale wrap and sweet potatoes fries, sampled the. Ornbread out of curiosity, and it was deeeelicious!!!... .I Ordered from the doordash app, but actually went for pickup. I just scanned the QR code once entering the building and it will tell you what Locker to pick your food. The app was very much so accurate on times.“
“Best Juice Cafe in Nashville :) the best and incredible service and yummy food! What more can you want <3Vegetarian options: Definitely has stuff for us vegetariansDietary restrictions: There are items that cater to each person! Vui is amazingParking: Lots of space to parkKid-friendliness: There’s options for all for food“
“I visited Nashville for a long weekend last year and honestly the smoothie bowl here miiiight have been one of the best things I had. Super friendly environment, great recommendations from the staff (shoutout to the redhead who took our order for making our smoothie bowls like an absolute PROFESSIONAL), and a nice sunny area to sit and relax while eating! The smoothie bowls were amazing and very filling and I tried a couple juices too! So glad I stopped by and would definitely go again next time I’m in Nashville!“
“Deliciousness! We had the Hawaiian Pizza and it was fabulous. Great crust, creamy cheese, so hot and fresh. Delicious smoothies and coffee. Can't wait to go back and try more vegan treats!Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options, entire menu is dairy free and vegan!“
“Food is wonderful! I’m so happy to have a place to go for quality, clean, whole-food options. But why can’t I find the nutritional information anywhere (macros, etc- not just ingredient lists)? Would be nice to be able to enter this information into MyFitnessPal or other food tracking apps for folks on a journey to health.“
“I like this place a lot. HOWEVER, we brought friends as our guest because we like this place so much, and I found it greatly disappointing that the amazing whole grain bun was not served with my turkey hatch Chile sandwich. Nothing was said that a cheap white bread substitute would be served. It just showed up with a white bread bun that looked like the local cheap Kroger buns. I told the waitress that it would have been nice to know if they are out of the bun that is listed on the menu. This bun is what makes this sandwich. I know, I have had it before. I’m amazed there wasn’t a price adjustment. Wait staff need to tell customers about substitutions. We spent well over $140 plus tip on this lunch. I’m not sure I’ll be back and I know it doesn’t matter when they are always busy. But this is how restaurants lose clientele one disappointment at a time. Lisa Rhea“
“I had resigned myself to missing out on Hot Chicken as a vegetarian. Lo and behind, Copper Branch made my dream come true. The vegan buffalo wings (tempeh on popsicle sticks…looks like the real thing) were also great. What a surprise to find a veggie-friendly alternative in downtown Nashville.“
“So, this was catered and I have to say I'm definitely going to have to check out this spot on my own to try other entrées. Brown stew chicken had such depth, chicken was tender while the jerk chicken was also pretty good. The Mac & cheese was stupendous while the rice and peas were what I would expect...just good and well seasoned.“
“This is the first one I ever been to Avo in over 7 years. I had a late lunch with a friend who is vegan and I did not know they were no longer raw vegan. She had the Nachos which were piled high and she liked them. I ordered the vegan cheese plate to share and the seasonal pot pie. Noah was the chef that day and he put his foot in it on Friday! My friend had to thank him and let him know how well he did. The pot pie had sweet potatoes on it which I was not expecting because it was a little too sweet for me BUT I had leftovers and it tasted better the next day! Fury was our waitress and she was so fun and attentive! She was down for our respectful shenanigans. The place is casual and designed like most places modern causal places. Open, open bench sitting in one side and a chair on the other.“
