“we were staying at a hotel nearby the past week and on our first morning, we stopped here for breakfast. the staff was wonderful and the food was amazing. we came back for brunch 2 more days because it was such a great place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“Food was fantastic. Great spot recommend by a friend. Use the waitlist to save time as its a busy place. Our server Morgan was fast friendly and helpful. He went out of the way to time our food just the way we wanted it.The bloody marys were on point. And courtesy biscuits were delicious. Bottom line great food great server.“
“We found this little spot and it was packed with locals. We waited in line and boy was it worth the quick wait! An iced chai, some amazing coconut cookies and some shortbread cookies were our order. We wanted to try new things to us! The owner(?) gave us amazing service and offered us a Sambusa to try and it was AMAZING. A great unique coffee shop with superb service, great coffee and amazing pastries/ food! Thanks for the service and education into Somalian food. When in Nashville we will return!“
“Stopped in Nashville on the way to Panama City Beach. Stumbled across this place by chance, but we were delighted by the cleanliness & cuteness of the place , the staff is very positive and helpful!! Ordered double shots of espresso and some breakfast , which looks delish. Bathroom were extremely clean! They have a really nice outdoor area with tables and cute lights. Overall, would love to come back here.Came back a second time, 8 days later and the Gentleman remembered us. We had another amazing experience. Everything was absolutely delicious! Thank you.“
“Absolut fantastisches Essen, serviert von äußerst freundlichen Mitarbeitern in einer wirklich netten Atmosphäre. Hier merkt man, dass das Essen mit viel Liebe und mit viel Innovation gemacht wird. Ich bin selbst kein Veganer oder Vegetarier, werde aber auf jeden Fall noch mal in dieses Restaurant gehen, damit das Essen vorzüglich geschmeckt hat“
“First of all, I am from Colombia and my family grows coffee, I have a great palate for coffee, I must say that I tried their cafe intermezzo , it is strong, and with a delicious flavor and smell. This place is highly recommended, I am in love with the coffee and the food.“
“Thank you Elodie! What a treat it was to have this Authentic French Cuisine. My team LOVED every little morsel, and was curious about each thing. It was like we took a trip to France to learn about the culture. Thank you again, and we'll definitely be calling again.“
“This was one of the favorite parts of the trip to Nashville. The food was absolutely top notch and the atmosphere was super welcoming and friendly. There was a musician playing jazz during breakfast and the owner made visits out to speak with everyone and thank them for coming. The restaurant is very community oriented and philanthropic. I never go to a restaurant more than once in a row while on a trip and we went here everyday. We were with a group of 8 and everyone loved this place. Another couple are coming back in a week and plan to come back to this restaurant again with friends/co-workers.“
“We had an incredible dining experience here chatting away about the future of technology and artificial intelligence. The entire room was interested, bring the brightest conversations to this beautiful lounge almost speak easy hideaway in Nashville. (We heard they sage the hotel) so it's always a good energy there. Enjoy their light and contemporary furniture delightfully designed. Thank you.“
“Very nice coffee snack shop. The hot teas have always been delicious and the muffins are delicous too. The service is friendly, professional, and efficient. I never miss getting a treat here when i have to go to Elite Ortho for an appointment.“
“Flora and Fauna is more than just a coffee shop; it's a gem in the heart of East Nashville. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by a service staff that makes you feel like family. The creativity in their drinks menu is a delightful surprise every visit, offering a perfect blend of classic and innovative choices. And let's talk about the pancakes – they are a must-try! Fluffy, flavorful, and simply irresistible, they're worth indulging in any day of the week. This place is a testament to what makes East Nashville's community so special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch experience!“
“The his place was absolutely amazing the pastries and Sambusas are 10/10. Also extra points for having the best dirty chai. Nice small place, with great ambiance. Very kind people and peaceful atmosphere with lots of parking! The lady working was super kind and helpful with suggestions. Will be coming back!“
“I take my son there at least twice a month and it is lovely. The staff is super welcoming and friendly to us, and the food is great. We split a veggie omelette with a fruit cup. AND they have this shelf full of books for kids....he loves those!“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of exploring small businesses in Nashville, Tennessee, and stumbled upon Roasted. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Aiesha and Chanel, setting the tone for a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, truly top-notch and delicious. Whether you're looking for a spot for a date night, a family outing, or a gathering with friends, Roasted offers a great ambiance with a lounge vibe and fantastic music.I must give a huge shoutout to their cooks who clearly put love and care into every dish. I would give Roasted 5 stars across the board, not just for their amazing food but also for their outstanding team. If you're in Nashville, make sure to stop by “Roasted” you won't be disappointed. My friends and I are already planning our next visit!“
“Seated quickly even without reservations, everyone working there was very kind and welcoming, and food came quickly as well. Clean facilities, cute decor, and the food was tasty (except we personally didn't like the chicken sausage but that's just us! Some may find it delicious). The lemon poppy seed bread for the French toast was a wonderful twist on a classic breakfast dish imo.“
“The farmhouse-chic style is not really my thing, but the place is pretty cool. It was pretty busy when we went but the space is open enough to not be oppressively loud. I only had the Iced Cold Brew and it was just ok (I was going to get a latte to go but it got too busy, lol). My wife had the Golden Milk Latte which was pretty good. The teacup collection on the ceiling was cool.“
“I wish I could give their atmosphere 10 stars! This is the most eclectic and incredible lobby in all of Nashville Hotels. I stopped in for breakfast and a quiet spot to work even though I wasn’t staying at the hotel.Get the tots! The coffee was delish, the breakfast was fantastic. Service was excellent and it’s a super comfortable hang.I’ll go back for sure.“
“Food was great but the wait is a little ridiculous. I understand it was on a Sunday it's busy. It just seems there's no organizational skills. Everyone is running around and does not seem to know what to do. Had to wait for a long time to cash out no one at the register. Someone should always be there. Just doing that it seems like there are too many hands in the cookiejar.“
“We absolutely loved the coffee, the atmosphere and the staff we met at the Frothy Monkey (the Nations) location!! The delicious food and fast service made for an even better experience! At the end of our stay, we bought two bags of coffee, and they even ground the beans for us! Wow, so nice, is all I can say! I highly recommend the Frothy Monkey!“
“Such a vibe!!! This place had such a warm welcome just seeing all of the games along the wall! Boardgames to me will always be around, they really put the old form of communication and learning at hand. Especially if it's a brand new game to everyone at the table! I love that you can get coffee, tea, food, and beer all in one place. The pretzel bites were to die for. The chai latte was also delicious. They also have events hosted there with game clubs and even tournaments. I will definitely be coming back again and again! I also cannot wait to bring friends.“
“I was looking for a local place to have a meeting and found District Coffee. So glad we meet there! Coffee is superb, the Pies and Sausage Rolls amazing, nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can book a meeting room also which I will do for my next meeting. Thanks District Coffee you guys are AAA+++Parking: Easy to park right out front“
“If u don't want the hassle of grocery shopping & prepping ur meals 4 the week, this is ur spot. Great, Delicious,& Convenient, meals. Order a meal plan on the app, no subscription. Or pick up meals from freezers &/ or u can eat a delicious nutritious meal on site! Love this “
“Great little coffee or tea shop located in the heart of East Nashville perfect for business meetings, first dates, or just to grab a tasty drink! Definitely a cool atmosphere and affordable prices, highly recommend!Parking: Parking lot is for a shopping center for depending upon time of day the parking could be wide open or a little tricky, gravel parking lot in the rear.“
“In Nashville for the weekend and always searching for gluten free restaurants. This one was AMAZING. I haven't found a legit good biscuit in the almost 4 years I've been gluten free. They make all the gluten free things on a separate everything so there is no risk of cross contamination. The biscuit was delicious along with everything else. I ordered 4 more just to take home with me. It's in a nice convenient spot in a not too busy area. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“While my takeaway meal was delicious, this review is a big shout-out to Alexis. Who took superb care of me today. Coming straight from and out of huge Verizon and $$ stress, her sweetness, good care and everything were exactly what the doctor ordered.Impeccable service and I hope she’ll be recognized.“
“20 mins away from Downtown Nashville, this bakery & cafe, holds its own and delivers on what a bakery & cafe promises to be.Great baked goods. My favorite was Orange ? Blossom Muffin and it tastes better than it sounds. I can drive back just for the muffin. So many options to choose from the pastries section - the croissants ? look good too for my next time. They do have seasonal lattes and plenty of coffee options with variety of milk options. Everyone is priced reasonably. If you’re lookin for a heavier breakfast, all you can find is banini & bagels . For more elaborate breakfast, this is probably not it. Coffee wasn’t the best I had ever, but I’m not complaining since they’ve priced it right. One of the advantages of driving away from the city for breakfast, is you don’t have to find street parking or overpay at the paid parking lot. You’ll find plenty of parking spaces in their lot.You do place your own order and they’ll call your name when your order is ready to be picked up at the pickup station. If you order brewed/drip coffee, they’ll hand you a cup and you can choose from the 7-8 options at the coffee station including French roast, breakfast blend etc.Staff was extremely friendly. Overall, my experience was great and I’ll definitely be going there again for my pastries fix.“
“The menu is varied, but filled with tasty whole food options. The GM was at the counter and had patience with us as we decided what we were going to order. Our food was delivered within five minutes of sitting down. I was also glad to know that the tips are split between the entire staff. Great place to eat. We come here whenever we are in Nashville.“
“this is a great fresh option compared to all the fast food joints downtown!Vegetarian options: salads, bowls, smoothies, veggie sandwichDietary restrictions: I let them know i was filling a no meat diet and they accommodated perfectly!Kid-friendliness: customers always bring their kids in and request kid sizes“
“This is the sweetest cafe in the west Nashville area! All of the proceeds go to supporting women who have been affected by human trafficking to get back on Thier feet. The women survivors run the cafe and make every thing themselves Including the gift shop items. They have wonderful food and a charming atmosphere, and friendly service of course! The lotions and the beauty products are all natural and have essential oils such as lavender in them so if your skin is sensitive they smell lovely and are perfect ! Such a good gift item as well. If this cafe were just a cafe with no back story, it would still be marvelous. However, why not go and show your support and make your meal matter? Highly recommend!“
“It’s not often that a coffee really impresses me, but I have to say the Shagbark Latte with oat milk was enjoyable from the first to the last sip. It’s also not often that I enjoy a coffee hot AND iced. The food was great too, but the service was awesome! Everyone was really helpful and nice. The atmosphere was great. I got the Bee-Hive vegan sausage, avocado, and sprouts bagel sandwich and a chocolate croissant, and both were great!“
“This place has it all. They have great food, coffee, and a place to sit down and stay awhile. Plenty of spots to sit and do work including an outdoor patio space for the warmer months. They have wifi that works well for those who are trying to get some work done. I got the breakfast burrito here and it came out nice & hot off the press. It came loaded with eggs, cheese, red onion, chipotle aioli, and avocado. I will say they could've put a little more avo in it but I was still super happy. For coffee, they have a wide selection of anything from seasonal drinks to espresso options. I got the flower boy which is a lavender honey latte and it was perfect. They also have cold foam you can put in your cold brew which is something I'll have to come back for. The employees are friendly, attentive, and happy to be here. It's such a good atmosphere you have to check it out! Lots of plants, inviting vibes, and fun music playing in the background. Add this gem to your list of places to check out in the WEHO area!“
“Outstanding. We ordered two vegan plates and 6 lentil sambusas. Phone ordering was extremely easy. When I arrived she already had the plates boxed up and pulled the sambusas. They were hot and crispy, and she left the paper bag open so they wouldn't get soft (a wonderful attention to detail!). The person I picked up from was so nice to interact with. She said she was not the owner, but the cook. I was captivated by her passion for quality and cooking good food from scratch, cutting no corners. When I got home and dug into the plate, I could see that it was beautifully and carefully presented. I expected collard greens (gomen) on the plate. Usually they are cooked to death. Ok, that's fine, I live in the south, I am used to this. But this is the first time the gomen (Collard Greens) still had their vibrant green color! And yet, they were perfectly cooked! I took one bite and thought, these greens are fresh... and they are cooked by someone who knows how to cook greens! And then next bite, the cabbage (Atakilt Wat). Unlike the greens, the cabbage had been cooked thoroughly until it was meltingly tender and full of flavor. It was exquisite. It reminded me of my mother's.The meal was little more expensive than other places I have been, but it was absolutely worth it. I have had a lot of Ethiopian food in the past in much larger cities than Nashville. I can truly say it was the best Ethiopian in Nashville!October 31, 2023 - curbside pickup only was easy, fast, and convenient. My highest recommendation!Vegetarian options: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Dietary restrictions: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Parking: Parking right in front of the restaurant. Lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: It is curbside pickup only. If children love Ethiopian food, they will love it. The tastes are for every one. For children, the most mild dish in the restaurant is the yellow split peas that comes in the vegan plate - kik alicha. You can request it. The cabbage would also be good for children, because the cabbage is mild, flavorful, and very tender.“
“This point little shock that is in a quiet neighborhood is a wonderful place to enjoy fancy chocolate. The service was superb from the two individuals that were running the bar, and the chocolate alone was delicious. Everyone in our party got something different, and all of it was most enjoyable.“
“Mixed Grill Catering catered our wedding and it was excellent! The food was delicious, everyone loved it and multiple guests said it was the **best wedding food they’d ever eaten!** Mounir and team were very friendly and easy to work with. They helped us craft a menu to fit our preferences and our guests’ dietary restrictions and they were willing to travel. The price and the quality are unbeatable. We’ll definitely use Mixed Grill for our next event. We had the shawarma, roast chicken, beef, salad, green beans, and mixed Middle Eastern desserts including baklava, goulash, and basbousa. Plus lemonade and coffee. The team also provided the plates and silverware.Vegetarian options: There’s a wide variety of vegetarian side options including salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options available.“
“From the lighting to the decor, the Dream met all of my expectations as described . The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious! Great location too! Within walking distance from so many big name bars and restaurants, great shopping too! Because of its great location it is a bit noisy at night, but to be expected!“
“Loved this place! First time eating here, and it was great. Did brunch with some running buddies early Saturday afternoon. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it! Got the spicy egg sandwich with some mimosas, and it was truly spectacular. Highly, HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!“
“Friends and I had a beautiful meal here before we attended a show downtown. We shared several appetizers and were blown away by how fresh and tasty everything was! Our faves: whipped feta; beet tahini. The blackberry sidecar cocktail was delicious, and our server recommended a Greek red wine that was also lovely. Looking forward to our next trip already.“
“super nice workers! when they didn’t have anymore of the flavor i wanted they offered multiple suggestions. they even let me taste my drink before sealing it all the way to make sure it was sweet enough for me since i had never been there before. great boba! super happy!“
“This is a great place to come for coffee. The young lady who helped me was very kind and gave me many recommendations on her favorite drinks to try. I opted for the Psalms 119 drink, and she did an amazing job fixing it. It tasted great.“
“Love this place so much! I live right down the road from them and the drive thru option has been a real life saver when I’m running late for work and want a quality bagel and latte to get my day started. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a coffee snob and I can say theirs is some of the best I’ve had here in Nashville. The “davey mabee” latte is excellent. I also highly recommend the “Mac’s” bagel. Prices seem very reasonable to me as well. Can’t go wrong with sam and zoe’s!“
“The manager Britney went above and beyond for my nephew who had celiac disease! She personally cooked his food to make sure it did not get contaminated and she made him Smores pancakes! Isaac was so happy <3 Thanks Britney for giving him a great experience. Also the blueberry goat cheese pancakes and mimosas were delicious.“
“Omg this place is amazing customer service is immaculate i order a chicken quesadilla and i must say that… that is the best quesadilla i have ever had im actually on my way back in to order another one 10/10 recommendKid-friendliness: They spoke to my daughter and made her day as well“
“The coffee is the best! The service is subperb! The two girls who made my coffee were friendly attentive and so nice! Not only did they make the best coffee but had such a great conversation! Every time I come from NYC and visit Nashville my first stop is at the virgin hotel to get great coffee and great conversation. They always make me feel like I’m family! I highly recommend going here! Best service ! Best coffee! Best baristas behind the counter!“
“This spot is my go-to in the neighborhood. They have the best coffee and a great atmosphere for sitting, meeting with friends, working remotely, etc. Tons of great indoor and outdoor space and it is never crowded. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Highly, highly recommend.“
“I visited East Nashville and was looking for coffee. And East Park came up in my search and was 2 blocks away. So, I ventured into coffe and donut heaven! The staff was wonderful and super helpful. The could see the gears in my brain were working over time, LOL. They answered all my questions and I had the most delish donuts (my room mates were loving them too) and a fab coffee!! Go. You wont be disappointed.“
“Portland Brew East is Nashville Native Approved. It is a great little spot to go and work for a few hours or just have a chill morning. The black coffee is very good. I always get dark and it has a perfect flavor packed punch. The staff has always been very kind to me, too. If you sit outside you will see multiple dogs walk by, as it has a very homey location between the Eastwood and Lockland Springs neighborhoods. Plenty of street parking in every direction and a paid parking lot in back, that you probably wont need to use.“
“My office is nearby and its a quick and easy location for coffee meetings. I always forget they have lunch so I can’t comment there but the parfait is always fresh and the coffee is solid. Wish they carried High Garden Teas sold here in Nashville. Staff is always friendly too!Vegetarian options: Parfaits and pastries. Not sure about the main menu for food but their website is easy to check.“
“I love the food here. It is one of my go to spots. I dont ask for condiments because I dont even think it needs it. One time, pepper and mushrooms () ended up in my Philly Cheesesteak, but they were very kind to replace it immediately. Very friendly people. The ambiance is the mall which isnt their fault.“
“This is our very first stop once arriving to Nashville, and we are so happy we decided to give this place a visit! The staff is very friendly. The ambience is wonderful and the people and food are amazing! We were super hungry from a long flight early this morning and arrived just in time for brunch, and decided to give this place a visit. My wife and I both had wonderful breakfasts and even got something for our son. We will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nashville. Zoe our waitress was extremely attentive and did a great job serving us! She even provided recommendations which were spot on! Keep up the great work!“
“Big thanks to our server Johnny who took great care of us for 2 breakfasts while visiting Nashville. Taro late was unique and worthy of revisiting. Baked goods were balanced and delicious. The meals felt so good, not heavy or greasey, proper portions. Drinks all made to perfection and the juices were even a life saver. This place has a fun and bright energy perfect for early day meals.“
