“This place is a hidden gem. We stayed in East Nashville for a week and this was by far the best place we dined at. The server was so attentive, she noticed a fly on the window bothering me and killed it with a napkin. We ordered the cauliflower and kale salad to eat with our main dishes. For the entrees I ordered the heritage pork and my wife order the prime ny strip. The flavors on all the dishes were spectacular. My only gripe was the lack of salt on the cauliflower, which was an easy fix. I’ve never had pork chops and New York steak taste so tender. I recommend medium cook on each of those. The service was impeccable! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food that is not fried southern food or fine dining. This is the perfect medium. Bravo!”

“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”

I kept seeing it on TikTok and had a friend coming in town so I made reservations, and I am so glad I did!! Everything from the vibes, drinks, food, and service was spectacular. For appetizers we got the watermelon and cantaloupe and it was the perfect mix of salty and sweet! We got the Stracciatella and it was good, but it was not my favorite thing. For dinner we got the rigatoni and agnolotti, and oh my goodness were they amazing. The corn in the Agnolotti was a weird combination, but I was willing to try and I can confidently say I will be returning for that dish alone!!

A must eat place in Nashville!! And that is big coming from a local because there’s tons of new places popping up with not great quality, but Rolf and Daughters is worth every penny!!”

“This is a really cool place to go when you just can't decide what you want to eat or with a group.
Several places have lists of what they offer that's "gluten-friendly" or gluten-free. I'm Celiac and had some great BBQ without getting sick.
Be sure to find the snow cone place that you can get a shot of liquor in, if you drink! Perfect for hot days!”

The drinks are just fantastic and quite strong without being too much. The food is beyond delightful. So many great options to start with and finish... The tuna crispy rice has all the hype and easy to understand why. We saw so many tables that had ordered fries, so we changed it up and went with the honey potatoes and wore were they amazing... The halibut was so delicious with so many great other flavors. We saved room for dessert and so happy we did with the Brookie with vanilla Gelato. Simply astonishing how perfect the dessert was paired with an Espresso Martini. If you find an open reservation so not pass up and many your way to East Nashville for this great dining experience”

“We love the casual yet upscale atmosphere at Thistle & Rye. Our party of 6 sat inside as it was 8 million degrees outside. We shared lots of apps, we all had the cod sandwich. The cocktails were fun, our eats delish! Our server, Samantha was patient and gracious as we were definitely “extra”then a larger group settled in at the next table. They were hilarious, needless to say Sam had her hands full and by all accounts handled everything perfectly! Thank you, our evening was great fun!”

“How on earth have I been missing out on Only Chicken? As an out-of-towner, I had no idea I was about to experience a culinary revelation. My family and I devoured an appetizer tray packed with veggies, haydari, hummus, and addictive chicken egg rolls. We paired it with crispy fries, a fiery level 4 spicy chicken with an extra side of the incredible number 5 sauce, and a melt-in-your-mouth lamb thyme served over rice.

The entire experience was unforgettable. Ozan's attentive service matched the impeccable presentation of the food. The lamb was a revelation—tender, flavorful, and completely defying my usual lamb skepticism. It felt like dining at a beloved family member's home. Trust me, this is a must-try for anyone visiting Nashville.

“We were in the mood for Indian, so we decided to head to Curry and Tikka. Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and we were quickly seated. To drink, we had mango lassis; they were so good! We had samosas for appetizers and they were delicious as well, super crunchy and the sauces that came with it were so good, (especially the mint chutney.) Our entrees came out pretty quickly, we had the paneer tikka masala and Channa massala. Both dishes were so tasty. They have a tandoori oven they use, so that’s how they make the food taste so good and makes this place stand out from other Indian places. To resume, service, food and atmosphere were awesome. I greatly recommend this place!”

The Steak..well the awards speak for themselves. The steak melted in my mouth!! Let's also mention the dessert... the Smores... just order it!!! You will love it!! When you see the prices you might think that's a lot for a burger until you receive said burger and take that first bite. When I bit into my burger it reminded of going to a cook out and eating a well seasoned burger that was cooked on the grill. The burger tasted sooo fresh that it blew my mind. Each burger you buy comes with your side of choice. They have multiple different sauces that you can try and add to your burger or dip your fries in. I'm definitely going back here to try different burgers. I had the Gabby burger and it was freaking huge!!”
