“It's small, usually busy, and absolutely worth the wait. The tacos are simple, fresh, and consistently great. I've probably recommended Mas Tacos to more people than any other taco spot in Nashville. Don't leave without trying the fried avocado taco.“

“We are at BarTaco Nashville in 12South and while I’ve been there many many times, tonight was my husbands first time. He has a lemon&lime allergy. When we alerted the waiter of this to make sure we weren’t ordering something with them in it, he confirmed a couple items we planned to order would need to be mine since they had lime. Then 2 separate managers came to our table to double check the allergy and need. Primarily to confirm tacos ordered where some ingredients also had lime. They were so attentive and made sure that his food came out on a separate plate with no lime or lime garnish. So incredibly impressive how much they cared his experience was healthy and positive. My husband had the shredded beef tacos (a short rib) which were great. Not too big.

I had the chicken club. The bread Is thick toasted sourdough with a chicken breast so it’s a substantial sandwich. Love the avocado spread on it! I could not even finish half.

Love the food! There’s only a bar seating area and the airport is loud. That’s the only down side.

This place is a keeper in an airport that has limited airport lounges. This is way less expensive than paying for the admirals lounge. Just a thought if you’re debating!

“Boyfriend and I came to Nashville for the first time for an airsoft tournament and only had the day, so this place checked all the boxes when it came to deciding what to eat and make the best of it. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

“Went to Mercado just to try something new and I was very impressed. It was during the afternoon so it was too hot to be outside, but the inside was great and comfortable to be in.

Food: I had the queso and chips for the appetizer. 5/5
I also had the oak-smoked brisket with the fries. 4/5 (the fries weren’t that good, but the brisket was GREAT)
The +1 had the Fajitas with rice and beans. 5/5.
The food was fresh and hot.

Service: We had the benefit of going when there was a lot going on, so our server was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The food came out quickly.

Atmosphere: Really vibrant and relaxing. Great place for an afternoon meal or dinner date for sure.

What really stole the show, was the bartender the drinks were PERFECT. It didn’t taste watered down, it was definitely a drink drink. Cheers to the bartender!

“These were some good tacos I’ve had in a while. My absolute favorite was the BBQ taco, it was packed with so much flavor and so juicy! The steak taco (tender) was good as well as the pollo (it was ok) but the BBQ taco was the highlight of the meal. I also ordered a asada quesadilla and it was delicious with the green sauce.I wish I was given more limes. The tortillas was dry but when you top it with the sauce everything came together.Very clean food truck! Was impressed on the cleanliness for it to be located outside a gas station. 9.2/10“

“We tried the chicken and pork tacos during our visit today, and both exceeded our expectations. The pork was smoked perfectly, making it juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The chicken tacos were equally impressive and quickly became our favorite part of the meal. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, with generous portions and great quality. “I've traveled all over Mexico and I speak Spanish. When I found this place, I honestly felt like I was on the street in Aguascalientes or some place similar. Now be braced people. This is not what we think of when we go to Las Palmas or any other conventional Nashville Mexican restaurant. This place does NOT cater to gringos. It is 100% true Mexican and this is where the local Mexicans go to eat. Even the help doesn't speak English, so take your translator app. Seriously, for anyone that would like to know what it's REALLY like to eat in Mexico, this is the place. And the food is fantastic. There will be Mexican music playing on one end of the place and a Novela on the TV at the other end. The other customers will be Mexicans complete with their work clothes and straw western hats. I love it here and I promise that I'm going to be a regular customer.“

“Updated 2026 review: this is my favorite taco truck I’ve tried on Nolensville Rd so far. My daughter loves their quesabirria tacos and is a regular there. Their red sauce is still the most flavorful. I legit almost cried when I dropped the red sauce last time.

Old review: We ordered 5 tacos, 3 orders of quesabirria tacos, and rice&beans. Total cost was almost $70 which I really find hard to believe but my Spanish wasn’t good enough to dispute. Nevertheless, the food was good. The red taco sauce was really tasty but I also liked the green one with the carnitas and chicken. My favorite meat was the al pastor followed by the steak then chicken. I’m almost sure the rice was a microwaved pouch but the beans are really flavorful.

Overall, I would eat here again but would ask to see the prices first!“
