“The beef birria tacos and consommé are simply out of this world! Best tacos I’ve ever eaten. Nothing in Los Angeles even comes close! MDLV will be my must-have meal every time I’m in Nashville from here on out! Thank you for your amazing food and much respect to your chefs and staff.“
“great food. you get what you pay for. NO! YOU GET way more than what you pay for! drinks are extremely good and food is really but really good. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. it is really good! you guys kill it ! recommended 100% you have to go or you miss a lot“
“Nectar Cantina is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm chips and the freshest salsa, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The food was simply outstanding, bursting with flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. The vibrant atmosphere added to the enjoyment, and the live music during the warmer months was a delightful touch.Tonight was extra special as we celebrated my stepdad's 80th birthday, and Nectar Cantina went above and beyond to make it memorable. Our waiter, E.J., was exceptional. He made sure my stepdad felt truly welcomed and made the celebration even more joyful. His attentiveness and warmth added an extra layer of hospitality that truly made the evening unforgettable.Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving delicious Mexican cuisine in a lively setting, Nectar Cantina is the place to go. Huge thanks to the entire team, especially E.J., for making our evening so fantastic. We'll definitely be back!“
“10 stars if I could.. this is my FAVORITE spot for Birria tacos and even better that they are open Late-Night. I work night shift so it’s lovely to always have this option. When I’m in Nashville, this is the only place I order from. It’s an “
“Staff was very helpful with recommendations and describing what came with what etc. I ordered the chorizo taco and the chicken taco. My husband ordered the Nashville hot chicken taco and the carne asada taco. We shared all the tacos and also ordered nachos and cheese with chorizo. It was all amazing! The one taco I will definitely order again is the Nashville hot chicken. It was delicious! The coleslaw on top of the hot chicken was amazing! Definitely will be back!“
“Best alllll the things. Love the tacos both flour and corn, have tried every single one including breakfast. Order the chorizo guesadilla & chips and queso for the WIN. And don't sleep on the frozen margarita, it is banging. This is SLIVING.“
“This place’s Birria Tacos are to die for! Genuinely think it’s the only place in Nashville that’s gotten the birria taco trend down correct. The hot chicken tacos are also simply delicious. Really good twist on the hot chicken trend that actually turn out delicious. Add in the different flavored margaritas, especially during happy hour, and this is such a delicious fun spot to spend a couple hours! Even the salsa served is top quality, it’s not just a simple bland salsa a lot of places may serve. The price point is solid for some really good quick food.Been to the other location a couple times, but stumbled on this one recently and this one is a lot better. Our waitress/bartender was so personable and made the whole experience so enjoyable!Parking: The only downside is probably the parking. You have to pull immediately off the main road into a diagonal parking spot, so when backing out you’ll be backing out into traffic. Theres very limited spots and if you can’t get one into front of the restaurant you’ll have to park down further or a road behind and walk.“
“I have visited this restaurant 2 times in the past few months. The food is extremely good. I have order the birria tacos which were amazing, especially with the dipping sauce. The chips and green salsa are very tasty. Order the house made green hot sauce. It seems to be a Jalapeño Avocado sauce and is fabulous as an accompaniment to anything on the menu. The regular guacamole is kind of a miss as it lacks zest. Needs salt and lime. The second visit was this last week. I ordered beef fajitas which were perfectly tender and tasty, served with a ramekin of butter to pour over the entire sizzling platter. Absolutely wonderful. The house made flour tortillas were perfect. One knock on the place. The service... Oh MY !!! All 3 servers were parked at the end of the bar with their faces buried in their smart phones. Each of the 3 servers were oblivious to the floor. None were scanning the dining room to see if any of their guests needed anything at all. I could only get the lady to return to my table after trying in vain to get anyone's attention, when the cook came out of the kitchen to go to the bathroom, HE saw me waving and told them that I evidently wanted something. The boss needs to know this so the boss can straighten this out immediately. I will visit again, but if this disengaged service happens again, it will be my last visit. Five stars for food, 2 stars for aloof service. The servers can easily do better if they just simply pay attention. When we left, one of the male waiters was standing at the host stand clearly playing a video game on his phone. Nope.“
“This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had… and I lived in San Diego for years. Everything was made fresh. The guac and salsa alone are worth a trip. The corn tortillas were light and fluffy. The barbacoa was my favorite taco, but the al pastor and carnitas were both great as well. And the servers were welcoming and attentive. Everyone here clearly cares about the quality of the food served and the enjoyment of their guests. We can’t wait to go back!“

“It may not be as well known or easy to find some of the other restaurants around, but it's definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Donelson.Food is always made fresh to order and service is absolutely great!Definitely the go to place around!“
“I order through Grubhub, my food was delicious. Best tacos, the birrias were so yummy, and the taco salad was the best I've had in a long time. I got several things to try them out. The servings were more than I expected so I have leftovers for at least 2 more meals. I highly recommend you give them a try.“
“Our server was super welcoming and friendly. She immediately welcomed us and sat us at the window to have a perfect view of the party scene on Broadway. The restaurant was peaceful with great music playing. We asked Molly for her recommendations and followed them with no questions asked. We ordered the Sweet Corn Fritters, Chicken Casa Burrito and Mama’s Broken Heart. The Sweet Corn Fritters were little spheres of cornbread with a savory sriracha honey glaze. It wasn’t spicy at all and made the perfect addition to the tasty bread.Chicken Casa Burrito was huge!! It was enough to share with 2 people however I took the challenge and enjoyed every bite. It was filled and came with a delicious salsa on the side. I enjoyed it with the Mama’s Broken Heart which reminded me of a Cadillac Margarita.Food was delicious and drinks as well so we continued the party with a margarita on the rooftop. I would recommend this place for a Mexican cuisine craving.“
“So happy that I found this hidden gem! I don’t normally leave reviews but after multiple visits I had to give a shoutout to Family Tacos for the best tacos I’ve ever had. Located on Charlotte Ave in Sylvan Park! Great staff, great atmosphere, and even greater tacos!“
“I wasn't feeling very well , but I was hungry so I had the chicken quesadilla.it was delicious!!the dip for the chips was great! ,not too spicy. My server was great too. I don't remember his name, but when I go back there I will Ask for him to be my server again.“
“So delicious. We’re from out of state and we’re looking for a dinner away from the center of Nashville, that wasn’t a chain. We literally saw it on Google maps right before we passed it and decided to stop. SO glad we did. I’ve been missing the good pupusas I used to get in NW Arkansas, and was so happy when I saw them on the menu. We also had a sope al pastor, chorizo tacos and a new-to-us dish called pollo con tajadas. I recommend ALL of them.“
“If I could give the service six stars, I would!! My friend has an onion allergy, and chef Mike went out of his way to accommodate her allergy. He even mashed up avocados for her and brought the food out personally. Our waitress Courtney was amazing, as well. She gave recommendations and was so quick and personable. Best place we’ve been to in Nashville, by far. Also, the food is AMAZING.“
“It was my first time going here and I am a fan now. I honestly don’t think I will go to any other food truck. I live all the way in Lebanon but they are worth the drive! The food was amazing! I had a burrito and some street corn and Oh My Word…. I had to save some to eat for later because I didn’t want it to be over. lol. I’m a foodie and I highly recommend this place. Customer service was A1 as well!!!“
“The beef birria tacos and consommé are simply out of this world! Best tacos I’ve ever eaten. Nothing in Los Angeles even comes close! MDLV will be my must-have meal every time I’m in Nashville from here on out! Thank you for your amazing food and much respect to your chefs and staff.“
“Before all the Taco I normally eat all street type. This time is more exquisite Mexican restaurantit is located at nashville downtown 3rd street. The queso is one of the must to order(pic2). Which means cheese In Spanish. It have original flavor, short ribs flavor, etc. Mainly pick chips and dip with it. Serve at the appetizer. The best part are tacos! There are total 10 different types. We order everything except the short rib flavor. All of them all pretty tasty and good. Average recommendation is 3-5 Per person. We left 2 Taco Because We already so full. The amazing part is each Taco really have a totally different flavor and texture. Some restaurant will only chanhe the meat type and veggie. Overall the sauce is same. But This one is not. Some crunchy and tropical, some rich cream and juicy.Price is fair also. Each Taco is 4.5 dollars. So Average will be 30-40bucks/person.The drink menu looks pretty good as well! A lot of selection. But since we have plan after so we didn't order it. The service is awesome.Overall ambience is chill and enjoy. The time I pick(5pm) is very quiet and not busy. I am assuming after will be more loud.“
“This is the best burrito spot in Nashville and it's not even close. Staff, atmosphere and good are all if the charts. Make sure if you order the blackened salmon(which I highly recommend) that you call it in before hand as it usually takes about 15 minutes to make.“
“Absolutely loved cerveza jacks. I loved it how it was off the Main Street of broadway but still close enough. Service was fantastic with good prices, and the food was outstanding. I liked how the menu had a variety, not all Mexican. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing with music while we ate. I highly, highly recommended.“
“AMAZING! Tried this place bc of the reviews. It did not disappoint. Fresh food, made to order, authentic, and fast. The burrito and the omelet were incredible. The potatoes/fries and horchata... wow! I was hoping for something good, but was not expecting it to be this good. If you're thinking about trying it... DO IT!“
“What a sweet find, Flora was the real MVP. I felt at home the moment I walked in. Trying to have a chill but saucy night with my babe. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for a date night. Every food ingredient is super fresh and appreciated. Keep on keepin on. Maybe a gringo but love what you’re doing “
“This is one of my favorite little overlooked spots in Nashville. Pitcher margaritas, the best cheese enchiladas in Nashville and incredibly attentive and friendly service! It’s affordable, family friendly, delicious and fast. The bathrooms are always clean, they keep the high-chairs wiped down (you know what I’m talking about parents) and there’s a nice little patio seating area as well!Seriously get the enchiladas, they’re so good I have at least one every time I’m there and I had them delivered to me at the maternity ward in the hospital :)Dietary restrictions: If you have celiac disease or you’re gluten-free there are lots of options for you! Tacos, fajitas, enchiladas etc.Parking: There is a huge lot with plenty of spaces!Kid-friendliness: This place is great for kids. There are big booths for the whole family, clean high-chairs and kid-approved menu options.“
“I love this food truck! My favorite thing to get is the al pastor burrito and a couple chicken tacos.. I’m a hungry guy so you may not need all that. But prices are very reasonable, meat is flavorful and hot sauce is nice and spicy. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.“
“Amazing experience from food to service, food was delicious, great portions at an affordable price. Our server Javier was very attentive and anticipated our needs before we even asked! His friendly personality and hospitality made Titos our new favorite restaurant. If you visit make sure you ask for Javier!“
“Fantastic place for great authentic Mexican food. Moved near the area around August 2023 and have been frequenting this spot 3-4 times a month since. Very friendly family-run place with tacos, burritos, and just about anything you'd like. Prices are fair and I've never had a meal that left me unhappy. If you get a chance to stop by, it's worth your time. The lines get a little long around the lunch rush but they have never made me wait more than 15 minutes from placing the order. Probably one of my favorite places in Nashville.Parking: It's attached to the gas station nearby so you shouldn't have any issues finding a place.Kid-friendliness: You'll often see people eating together with their families and friends.“
“El Agavero has been my go to almost on a weekly basis for months now. I've been to many great Mexican restaurants around the country and in Mexico and this place really punches above its weight. The service here is excellent, the food is fantastic, and their margs are just about perfect. Try this place! You won't regret it.“
“If you haven’t been to Mommy’s Tacos yet, you’re missing out! The tacos are so juicy and flavorful. Amazing service and the location is nice. The seating is very laidback and has a nice cozy vibe to it. Highly recommend checking them out!“
“We come from New Orleans, we were looking for great tacos. Our favorite was Taqueria El Dolar #2! The best service, very tasty, and the best prices. We went twice, in one day. We will definitely return to Taqueria el Dolar when we return to Nashville. My favorites were the sopes!!“
“The service was impeccable! The margaritas were just right (not too weak and not too strong). We all ordered vastly different dishes and were all delighted with the tastiness and ample portion sizes. The prices were also incredibly reasonable. We will definitely be back!“
“Louie's is the best! This is my new favorite taco shop in town. They offer burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, basically anything you could want and it is all great. I highly recommend the street corn, chicken burrito bowls, and the steak tacos. The margaritas are great too! So happy this place is in Bellevue!“
“Had to pickup relatives at airport in Nashville .. this was easy on and off place to eat! Boy were we surprised.. everything was great! prices were good, servings were generous and staff was very accommodating. Next time thru.. we will be eating here again!“
“Let’s just say tamales, rice, beans and salsa verde were the saviors of our 2020 Christmas. My husband is a Houston native, I lived in Austin a while...and we both were practically in tears over how fricking delicious everything was. Leftovers with a fried egg the next morning???? STAAAHHHHHP. Put us on the weekly subscription plan cuz DAYUM.“
“Delivery was super fast on DoorDash. Everything was still warm, even the tortilla chips. I got the Chicken Tinga tacos which were so delicious as the shredded chicken is so tasty! My husband got the Chicken Fajitas and he was super satisfied with the dish. Many sauces come with the order and they too were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for high quality Mexican food!Parking: Parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.“
“The best tacos in Nashville, you definitely can’t miss it, I recommend the bang bang shrimp, pastor tacos, pork belly, pollo verde, macho nachos, quesadillas, and the fantastic chimichanga and don’t Forget to try the beer and their delicious margaritas.“
“Food is always great and tonight the server realized I was choking on a chip and rushed into action. I said water and he took off and grabbed a water. It was that quick action that prevented me from getting sick. It was also super busy and the server was so great, so fast. I unfortunately forgot his name but he was great. I highly recommend.“
“First time here was looking for a quick lunch to go and came across this place ! Best decision I’ve made so far !! The flavor of this food feels like home!! We got a plate of chicken quesadilla with rice, beans, and salad on the side. Also had a carne asada torta with grilled onions on the side. The green and red sauce omg the best !! The horchata was so good too !! I wish I found this place sooner !“
“Great Pollo asada. The chicken had great flavor, it was moist, and a little crispy just on the edges while being very hot. Able to combine with the rice, refried beans, and lettuce into a tortilla to make a few tacos. Delicious when paired with the green sauce for a little heat. The chicken did have bones. Can't take a photo--the foods all gone!“
“I absolutely love West Coast Taco Shop. The food is always tasty, and I always leave satisfied. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed; great for something quick and casual. The staff is really friendly as well. Seriously one of the best taco shops in the area.“
“Tried a variety of their offerings, tacos, sopes, and quesadilla. Price of taco is reasonable but the sope seems to be on the expensive side although it was quite tasty. I recommend it but just keep in mind that higher price doesn't equate to bigger portions so I'd stick with the tacosParking: Around 20 paid parking spaces available to each side of the building“
“Bartaco is that cool Nashville restaurant you will want to tell your friends about. It’s a hip spot dishing out classic street style tacos with delicious flair and a variety of options. For a tasty appetizer, you can’t go wrong with the fried plantains and street corn.Margaritas are on point, and our server was very informative about the different varieties of margaritas available.Speaking of servers, one thing to note is that Bartaco uses a phone based ordering system, so make sure you have a phone with good charge before going. As for the tacos, the pork belly taco is by far my personal favorite. It’s like candy, with a sweet glaze, crispy and juicy all at the same time. I had to get two of these because they are that good. All in all, a fun and tasty spot to enjoy while in Music City.“
“Went here with some friends for an outing and it wasnt bad! The good: the food was piping hot when it came out as well as having $15 margarita pitchers! The meat was tasty as well as the salad they brought out. The bad: i wish there was larger portion sizes for the price. The environment was also very much a closed setting so there was a lot of overlapping sound from other tables. Overall: decent place with decent food and good drinks!“
“The food was fantastic, but it wasn’t even busy and the service was pretty slow and inattentive. The chips and salsa were great, but I would ask for a spicy option if I go back. The Burrito Banderas I order with ground beef was really great. Festive salsa and flavorful ground beef was all perfect. I would ask for the salsa verde with the chips.“
“I was searching on Google maps for shrimp tacos and discovered this restaurant thanks to the folks who posted on Google reviews! In the search bar I typed shrimp and bonanza there were almost a dozen highly positive reviews about both their shrimp and fried fish tacos. Three fat, plump, juicy shrimp piled into a taco. Many thanks to the folks who where kind enough to post their reviews. They were not kidding! This place serves hot delicious food and at least the shrimp and fried fish tacos are cooked to order. It’s quick and delicious! They use warm soft corn tortillas which were excellent. They also have a mild green or a spicy red sauce that is equally delicious. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Thank you to the owner of the shop, helpful employees and fantastic chef for making this meal possible! I cannot wait to return to try all your tacos! The biggest surprise of all was their delicious fried fish taco was only $1.59! The fish taco is a bit of a gimmick because of the amount of fried fish, which is excellent, that you receive. The taco’s are generous with their toppings considering the price! The chips were cold and salsa was thin and bland. Thanks again! On our second visit we tried the carne asada and the meat was similar to philly cheese steak quality meat so it was just average though it had guacamole on it which was nice but the shrimp and fish tacos were again awesome! I also noticed that the pico de gallo is made fresh and was also excellent. The tacos hit all the right spots delicious! It’s a great place to come if all you want is a light snack!“
“Used to pass this place all the time while working, finally one day I stopped for lunch to see what it was about. There was a line to the door but still got in and out within 5 minutes. I got the chicken and rice and the food was absolutely excellent most authentic food I have found since I moved to Tennessee. Beans are absolutely the best you can get anywhere. $20 and you can feed 3 people easily.“
“Forgot to post this but a while back I went on a limb and the food was absolutely delicious I loved it so much I got a burrito and lord it hit the spot. My waiter anri I think was his name, was so sweet and funny!! Super great guy and most definitely coming back !!“
“Stopped by on a Friday night, we had seen this place after passing by it a couple times since we moved to the area & we're very surprised, the restaurant was pretty busy when we walked in & they had karaoke going on which was a pleasant surprised as it added to the ambience which was lively & fun... the food didn't disappoint either. We had the molcajete which was huge & was a mix of seafood & and steak, chicken, & chorizo.. a lot of food which were all well seasoned & delicious... we also had the ceviche a la playa & an order of oysters to finish it off all were great & recommended.. the dishes are pricy though but again it's seafood & portions are good.“
“Was visiting a friend in Nashville who had this place on his list of must-try restaurants. I knew it had to be good. Counter service ordering is at the outside window. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of inside seating as well. Our tacos were delicious. I ordered the fried fish taco and the spicy carne (my personal fave from the experience). We stopped here for a quick casual dinner before other stops in the night and were not disappointed at all. Good price point, great eats, and easy to please even the picky eaters in our party.“
