“The East Nashville location is the heart of the operation and part of its charm. The space feels rustic and lived-in, the kind of place where the food—and the people—are the real stars. The service is consistently friendly and genuinely fantastic, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel that visitors love. If you’re able, Connie and I strongly recommend finding a seat at the bar and ordering from there. It’s the best way to settle in and soak in the experience and enjoy the hospitality up close.
When it comes to the food, Mas Tacos Por Favor punches far above its weight. The carne molina taco is, without question, the best taco I’ve had anywhere—rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The soups are equally impressive, slow-simmered and packed with comforting depth, and the black beans are outstanding, the kind of side dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Nothing here feels like an afterthought.“

“So I got a flat tire and was ready to hunker down in the car and wait for the tow truck when I noticed San Luis Taqueria. I am very wary of restaurants attached to gas stations (I know, not fair; but in some cases totally fair!! :). Anyway, I decided to brave it out and eat a taco. Well, I ended up getting the Flautas with extra avocado and cheese and…OHHH EMM GEE!!! This food is freaking delicious!!!! I will definitely return just for these! “I wanted to share a review as I was in attendance for the last review shared where Las Palmas received a very negative 1 star review. I want to let the people know do not take that review seriously. These individuals were disrespectful and cause a scene for the patrons and workers. The Manager was professional and handled the situation to the best of his ability. Makes you scratch your head people are out to try and ruin a reputation, especially with what this city has been through the last few days. Thank you Las Palmas for having your doors open and being welcoming to folks during this time. Felt bad the employees had to deal with people clearly still aggravated their poor Houston Cougars lost over the weekend. Boohoo“

“This place has always been spectacular ✨️. I always go here, for the chicken off the grill, with rice, beans, tortillas and salsa. It feeds 4 in my family. Try the store, also they serve tacos, tortas, burrito, sopes, at the walk stand connected to the store that are delicious. They stay really busy so be patient“

“Stopped by for breakfast today. The lady behind the counter was so nice and extremely helpful. She was very attentive and patient which made my first visit very welcoming. The burritos were huge and they did not skimp on anything. The horchata was delicious and very well balanced. It was cold but not watered down like a lot of other places. They have a little cold bar with various toppings salsas, fresh made hot sauces, radishes, lime, jalapeños, cucumbers, and you get warmed chips too. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.“
