Big fan of this place! High level authentic cooking in a chill/unassuming environment. To me you are getting more upscale/elevated style Mexican (more Oaxacan ) like you would find in Chicago at a heralded Rick Bayless spot. So, taking this into consideration the prices are fair, IMO. I've also purchased some of their salsas and chips to take home. Menu changes often with unique short lived specials so it's good to follow them on IG or wherever.
If you have only ever been to the food truck outside of Chopper, you need to visit this tortilla shop! There are so many items that you can’t get at the truck. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection!

Bought corn and flour tortillas to bring home to cook tacos and burritos.Absolutely wonderful. Fresh as could be and delightfully thin, but thick enough. After years of grocery store tortillas (yeah, I know, shame on me) that were too thick and tasteless, these were a revelationI look forward to trying to some of their meals, and am tickled I found this place.
