“Today was the first I’ve even heard about this. I was leary about it at first with the parking being terrible. But my wife really wanted to try it. So valet we went. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. I was 100% impressed with just a burger that we are looking forward to coming back and having a real dinner. Hands down worth the time and energy. Bartenders were great, servers were polite and who I think was a manager was very attentive. Thank you all for today.“

“I don't know why we don't come here more often but after tonight's dinner, we certainly will.
The environment inside is always clean, modern and quiet for a change.
Parking is easy by using valet or on the street or across the street at a paid parking lot.
Tonight's food was simply outstanding.
I started with a smoke fish dip. Others around the table tried their bread service and shrimp toast. All of which was delicious. The only issue is the smoke dip could have used some more crackers. Head adjust the amount of space combined with a lightly smoked flavor and pickled onions.
I thoroughly enjoy the scallops, served with a gnochi made from squid ink rather than potato. It had serano peppers in it.And whatever else they did made it one of the most unique and delicious dishes i've tried in a long time.
Are waitress, Billy was knowledgeable and pleasant, and was there when we needed her.
When in our party had their fried chicken, which looks nothing.And tasted nothing like fried chicken.You would usually eat. Fantastic.
How refreshing to be able to have a conversation around the table and not have noise overshadow, your ability to talk with others.

“We picked this place because of the location & menu. The menu was decent & fairly priced. Food was good except for the pork chop being undercooked. Most of it was eaten before discovering it was uncooked cooked in the middle. When brought to the waiter's attention he said “sorry about that”. Free dessert was brought out for a birthday in our party, but I think the pork chop could have been taken off the bill. That should have not left the kitchen undercooked.“

“This place is a gem that has been operating here forever!! The best authentic Thai food in Nashville. The space is in a house and can be a bit tight and crowded, but I think it is one of the charms of old place that has been around for so long. You can see the owner likes plants, there are lot of hanging plants and pots all around which add charms and personal touch to the experience. Their Pad Thai is very tasty but it could be less sweet. The flavor is bold and tastes very authentic. I usually get the one with green bean noodles which has nice texture and tastier. We love their bao buns and dumplings, too. Their sticky mango dessert is one of the best I have ever tasted!“

“We were in town for vacation and stopped for lunch on a Friday. The crowd was great and so was the music. Our lunch was good and so were our drinks. It was however, a bit pricey. But everything is expensive in downtown Nashville. Our service was a bit slow but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. The rooftop was a fun place to hang out with our kids after lunch and have a drink and listen to music.“

From the outside, I didn’t expect much from the restaurant but inside I got everything I wanted and more. When we arrived we were happily greeted at the front and immediately seated during lunch on a weekday. The inside was very clean and a “mom and pop” picnic vibe but very bright and a lot of windows inside. The restaurant also had very cute decorations all around.
The menu was also fresh and clean with cute font and all the info you would need to order the best meal.
The server was very sweet, helpful and attentive.
When you order, the table recipes shareable fixings and you can order your main and a side. ALL the food was fresh and delicious and served very quickly. We ordered the catfish and the breading was delicious. If you are local, this is a good place to try, and if you are being a touristy, it’s an awesome hometown southern option to try.

“We have eaten at Southside Grill for about twenty years. We go there for a quick bite to eat, Sunday brunch and, celebrations. We ate there last night and had probably the BEST meal we have ever had at Southside Grill. It was fantastic!“
