“As I proceeded to walk in, they were pretty busy. However, they took my order promptly. My food was ready in a fair amount of time. Moreover, my food was fresh and prepared just the way I liked it. Not to mention, I used to live in the area and would eat here often. Being that it's not many around anymore, I make it my point to stop there every time I come to the area. They have not disappointed.“

“Edit Apologies!!! In original post I listed a previous name of restaurant at this location because my ‘maps’ app had not updated with the right name. Correct name: MEZCAL COCINA MEXICANA #2. **************************************** Our first time to Cafe Mexicana and we WILL go back. We’ve found our favorite Mexican restaurant after being in this area since 2018!!! They have the very BEST chicken enchiladas, because of how they prepare the chicken. It’s shredded, it’s tender, and seasoned to PERFECTION . (So many of the other restaurants have tough chicken that seems to completely lack Mexican styled seasoning). My husband had chili rellenos and said they were the best he’s had in decades! And the portions are ample. The enchiladas are larger than other places. I had to bring home leftovers which is great because I get to enjoy two meals for the price of one. 😋 So glad we decided to try Casa Mexicana. It’s a 10:10!!!ana“

“CHICKEN & WAFFLES for the win!
This is our second time here- the first time, all the food was good except the ribeye. We sat at the bar and the service was shotty. Then they brought out an overcooked piece of tough meat I would have labeled a sirloin not a ribeye- disappointing, however- the rest of the food was delicious enough to warrant a second chance.
I'm glad we came back! Reese was our server this time, did a great job, very attentive! The waffles that came with the chicken were like dessert- I ordered another two with the meal after tasting them.“

“I love seafood, especially deep-fried seafood platters and if you do to then there is no better place anywhere near here to get a fried seafood platter. The owner and head chef, Elizabeth Parks Landry, willingly and happily accommodates my special requests when I want something other than what is not offered on the menu. I cannot speak highly enough of this place...“
