“Eddie V’s Prime Seafood is one of the most respectable upscale restaurants in the city, and the food lives up to the hype! As their name implies, their seafood is fantastic, probably the best in the entire city! They have a policy that every seafood served at Eddie V’s was alive in the ocean less than 36 hours prior! Anything left over is donated, which is impressive! And you can taste its incredible freshness throughout the meal! There are only 30 locations of Eddie V’s in 15 states, but the quality is hardly reminiscent of chain restaurant food. It’s truly exquisite! And we have very high standard having dined at Michelin-starred eateries all over the world.

The scallops, lobster, and lobster bisque are easily the best in Nashville, and we’ve dined at every high-class restaurant Music City has to offer! The butter poached lobster mashed potatoes are incredible, extra creamy topped with buttery lobster and a beurre blanc sauce. The truffle mac is equally stupendous, with a three-cheese blend, truffle oil, and thinly shaved truffles imported from France! While most upscale restaurants tend to make a very strong truffle mac that has overpowering flavors, the chef at Eddie V’s manages to make this, and all dishes, subtle and flavorful without overdoing it.

Just as amazing as the seafood are the steaks. Since they had a Japanese A5 Wagyu in the building at $40 an ounce, something they don’t have every night, I took advantage of that! As expected, the highest grade of Japanese beef did not disappoint, and the chef prepared it to perfection. That impossibly tender steak seasoned beautifully just meted in my mouth, probably the second best steak I’ve eaten in Nashville! The ponzu sauce, one of three that accompanied the steak, was delicious. The Korean inspired gochujang was also good, but maybe not perfect for this style of steak. But the wasabi paste was the winner, a perfect compliment to the beef without being very spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Like all dishes here, they’ve impeccably balanced flavor with subtly! The desserts aren’t bad either, but they pale in comparison to the beef, seafood, and side dishes!“

“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. “My kids took me for my birthday. Walking in, the ladies at the front were very nice wishing me a happy birthday. Our waiter, Clifton, could not have been any nicer or attentive. My menu came with a Happy Birthday Anna written on it. The whole experience was really special. Everyone was just friendly and did their job over and above expectations. The food was very good. My daughter and I split a 12 oz Cowgirl ribeye which was perfect. My son got the Cowboy ribeye and he said it was amazing. The Mac n cheese was good. My DIL got the pasta primavera and she liked it. “This is a nice place and you should try their crab claws. It is so flavorful! It can be a little less salty though. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. They also have a piano and you can hear them playing it live which is a plus! We have been to this place several times celebrating occasions and I would highly recommend it!“

“We stopped in while in Nashville. We were the first in the restaurant and were greeted by the. AMAZING staff. We didn’t have a reservation but were treated very well. We weren’t sure what we wanted to order so our server gave us some recommendations that didn’t disappoint. From the drinks to the end we were checked on frequently. Steak was like butter and cooked to perfection. Yes, the prices are high. That being said we will be returning and have recommended it to several friends as a “must try” while visiting Nashville.“

The waitress was friendly, attentive and was just perfect! The food was outstanding with portion sizes just a little bit bigger than we could eat which I like, not so much I have to take half home. “We had an excellent dinner at Old Hickory Steakhouse in the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The ambiance is elegant and upscale and the food was outstanding too, juicy, perfectly cooked steaks and great sides. All 5 out of stars!

But what really made the night special was the service. Our waiter Tony was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make everything perfect. The whole staff was top-notch, but Tony stole the show.

The service was top notch A1 hands down best service I’ve ever received. Danielle was attentive, kind, caring and knowledgeable! The food was seasoned to perfection, I had the lamb chops with the baked sweet potato and he had the 8oz ribeye with the loaded baked potato, the salad bar was super fresh with a nice variety. The dessert was amazing!!! We had the banana foster there and we ordered the brownie cheesecake, carrot cake, the lemon cake to go for our kids at home.
