“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“For how much i anticipated this restaurant my experience didnt live up to the hype.

Nothing bad happened by any means, it just felt like a normal Tuesday dinner.

The service was fine. Food was fine. We got the trout, the kids burger, and the famous biscuits.

Trout was great (a tad salty but the rice wasnt so that helped balanced it). The kids burger's ratio was off balance. Too little meat with too much bun. The bun was good, though. The potato wedge were fantastic. The biscuits were a tad dry, but if you lather it with the sweetened butter, it added good flavor.

Our drinks were really good. I got the Can Can Kick It and my husband got the Ghost something.

“We had breakfast at Biscuit Love. We ordered a Biscuit and Gravy and an Egg Benedict with Ham. The biscuits were flaky and the gravy was delicious with sausage bits. But this place is a little expensive. Only a biscuit and gravy cost over $10 and the portion was kinda small. Tried for one time was good enough for us.“

“Everything was great until it was time to pay. The inability to split checks properly was very frustrating as our table had to transfer money from phone to phone and bank to bank in order to pay for our food individually under one tab. If someone wants to pay for their own food that should be an option automatically. The payment options killied the experience. Our waitress did not really ask for drink orders just floated incase we wanted to ask her for something else. The food was great! And ambience was fantastic. “Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“Today was the first I’ve even heard about this. I was leary about it at first with the parking being terrible. But my wife really wanted to try it. So valet we went. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. I was 100% impressed with just a burger that we are looking forward to coming back and having a real dinner. Hands down worth the time and energy. Bartenders were great, servers were polite and who I think was a manager was very attentive. Thank you all for today.“

“Loved the quick and attentive service from the time I walked in to when I was seated. The all day happy hour was perfect after a long week. My server Grant was super nice. The chicken tenders were fried to perfection and the red white and blue drink was the perfect combo. I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese but have heard other locations may be worth a try so I won’t quite count it out. Street parking was easy to find but they also validate for 2 hours in the garage which is ideal. “Went for song writer‘s night with a group. The song writers were excellent. Food was very good. Happy hour prices were better but music didn't start until well after. Onsite valet parking was $30 but found place nearby on street for $7.50.“

Major highlight was Jacklen, who took excellent care of me and was the highlight of my morning when I visited each day for breakfast at the hotel.

Jacklen made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate my very particular dietary requirements —something I often have a hard time with when traveling.

“Recently ate here with a friend and I cannot fault it. We were seated in the gallery area which is next to the main dining. It has a really cosy feel to it.

We got the sausage cheddar biscuits to share. I then got the short rib and my friend got the scallops and for side we shared max and cheese. Every dish comes with mash too.

The food was cooked to perfection and very generous portions. Priced well.

“I stayed at the hotel for several days and had the privilege of enjoying the complimentary breakfast each morning. I took full advantage of it, and to my surprise, every meal was excellent.

On the first day, I had the steak and eggs, which exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. The next morning, I tried the bagel and lox sandwich, which was fantastic. On the third day, I went with the traditional Southern breakfast, and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The grits were outstanding, and the sourdough bread was excellent as well.

The only downside was the service on the first day. Our waiter seemed distracted and not particularly attentive. We had to ask other staff members several times for coffee and a few other items. I think the hotel and restaurant should either provide additional training or ensure their waitstaff are better prepared, because the food and overall dining experience are truly excellent, and poor service can easily take away from that.

One additional recommendation: if you’re a coffee lover, check out the attached coffee shop. I found the coffee there to be much better than what was served in the restaurant, and it seemed like they may be using a different blend.

Overall, the food was outstanding, and despite the service issue on the first day, I would definitely recommend dining here“
