“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

The filet was fork-tender with an incredible sauce, while the osso buco was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and paired beautifully with sides. “McNamara’s is one of my favorite spots in Nashville when I’m craving Irish food. It does a great job delivering a semi-authentic Irish pub experience without leaving the city. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and feels more like you’re enjoying a meal in someone’s home than eating at a restaurant.

They frequently have live music, which really adds to the experience, and there’s an excellent selection of beers, whiskey, and other alcoholic beverages to complement the menu. The only minor downside is that the live music can get a little loud at times, making conversation more difficult, but that’s also part of the lively pub atmosphere many people come for.

We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. “I don't know why we don't come here more often but after tonight's dinner, we certainly will.
The environment inside is always clean, modern and quiet for a change.
Parking is easy by using valet or on the street or across the street at a paid parking lot.
Tonight's food was simply outstanding.
I started with a smoke fish dip. Others around the table tried their bread service and shrimp toast. All of which was delicious. The only issue is the smoke dip could have used some more crackers. Head adjust the amount of space combined with a lightly smoked flavor and pickled onions.
I thoroughly enjoy the scallops, served with a gnochi made from squid ink rather than potato. It had serano peppers in it.And whatever else they did made it one of the most unique and delicious dishes i've tried in a long time.
Are waitress, Billy was knowledgeable and pleasant, and was there when we needed her.
When in our party had their fried chicken, which looks nothing.And tasted nothing like fried chicken.You would usually eat. Fantastic.
How refreshing to be able to have a conversation around the table and not have noise overshadow, your ability to talk with others.

That said, we were a bit disappointed by the limited menu selection, as we expected a few more options. We also felt that some of the dishes were priced on the high side relative to the portion sizes.
