“Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a restaurant known for its country-style meals and welcoming atmosphere. The service is generally friendly and attentive, ensuring that customers receive their orders correctly. However, there have been some complaints about changes in recipes and food quality, as well as the size of certain dishes. Vegetarian and vegan options may be limited, and it is unclear if the restaurant claims to offer such meals. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy for people with mobility issues to dine comfortably.“

Cracker Barrel Old Country Auto Store Southern • $$

“Cracker Barrel Old Country Auto Store offers a charming dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Guests consistently praise the welcoming and happy demeanor of the hosts, servers, and cashiers. The restaurant serves a variety of comfort foods, with notable mentions of the Chicken and Biscuits, Biscuit Benny, and Momma's Breakfast. The Chicken and Biscuits are described as delicious and the Biscuit Benny is enjoyable, although it could use more Hollandaise sauce. Momma's Breakfast includes two eggs, meat, and three pancakes, with an option to add fresh blueberries and Dickinson's wild Maine blueberry syrup. The restaurant features classic Cracker Barrel elements such as rocking chairs and checkers on the porch, and a General Store gift shop. Despite being busy, especially during lunch hours and just before noon, the service remains attentive. However, some minor issues were noted, such as slightly undercooked eggs, slightly burnt pancake edges, and a need for better cleanliness. Overall, Cracker Barrel Old Country Auto Store provides an above-average dining experience with its signature comfort food and welcoming environment, making it a place worth revisiting for breakfast or lunch.“

Mo'Cara Event Venue Southern • $$

“My new bride and I had our wedding reception here on 10-4. The restaurant booked it as a private event and we had the entire place to ourselves. Each guest was greeted at the front door as they arrived, and food was started promptly once everyone was there. They were so friendly and accommodating! We were initially given a family style food selection, which proved problematic when trying to pick something all of our guests would enjoy. In a strange twist of fortune, we actually ended up benefitting from COVID, as family/food bar style serving was ruled out. Due to COVID, we were offered a plated dinner selection where each person picked their own entrée from a limited menu, and we picked two sides that everyone would have. We put together a list of everyone's entrée choice and sent it to them ahead of time. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the portions were EXTREMELY generous, and the restaurant was beautiful. I will note that they got one of our sides wrong. We had asked for southern style green beans, but we're not even sure what we received. It was some form of mixed vegetables, but most definitely wasn't green beans. That was really the only complaint we had, though. The other side was roasted potatoes and everyone really enjoyed those, so we didn't even bother raising it as an issue while we were there. The simple fact is that everything else was done so well that we were very willing to overlook this. All in all, this place is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Due to COVID, I believe they have adopted a new business model centering on catering events on site, though. It may be worth contacting them ahead of time to verify before you drive over there.“
