“We ate here for son’s 6th birthday and our waitress, Jess, was phenomenal. She was so sweet to our kids and went above and beyond for their needs.. we didn’t even have to ask. She had our family laughing and we truly enjoyed her tonight. Unfortunately, you don’t always get the service you look for when eating out and we need more servers like her! Jess deserves more than a shout out! We will definitely be asking for her section in the future. Thank you, Jess, for helping make our son’s birthday even more special!“
“First time eating here and the experience was five star from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. From the host to the server to the cashier everyone seemed happy to be at work and happy to be interacting w me. And the food was as comfortable as comfort food gets. Chicken and biscuits. I mean just delicious. My waist may not approve but the rest of me loved every thing. Great job“
“My new bride and I had our wedding reception here on 10-4. The restaurant booked it as a private event and we had the entire place to ourselves. Each guest was greeted at the front door as they arrived, and food was started promptly once everyone was there. They were so friendly and accommodating! We were initially given a family style food selection, which proved problematic when trying to pick something all of our guests would enjoy. In a strange twist of fortune, we actually ended up benefitting from COVID, as family/food bar style serving was ruled out. Due to COVID, we were offered a plated dinner selection where each person picked their own entrée from a limited menu, and we picked two sides that everyone would have. We put together a list of everyone's entrée choice and sent it to them ahead of time. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the portions were EXTREMELY generous, and the restaurant was beautiful. I will note that they got one of our sides wrong. We had asked for southern style green beans, but we're not even sure what we received. It was some form of mixed vegetables, but most definitely wasn't green beans. That was really the only complaint we had, though. The other side was roasted potatoes and everyone really enjoyed those, so we didn't even bother raising it as an issue while we were there. The simple fact is that everything else was done so well that we were very willing to overlook this. All in all, this place is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Due to COVID, I believe they have adopted a new business model centering on catering events on site, though. It may be worth contacting them ahead of time to verify before you drive over there.“
“Had a great experience at Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee!!We have been there a few times previously however this was our first time in quite a while.The food was great. My mom and uncle had Hamburger Steak and I had the Carolina Gold BBQ chicken tenders.I recommend them! They were very tasty!! But there for a limited time so try them while you can!!The atmosphere was also great, however, to say the service was outstanding still seems like an understatement!!We especially want to give a special shout out and a huge “Thank you” to the manager, Brian!!Last night, Friday, April 19, 2020, between 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM CST, we were there.We were getting ready to leave. We had already paid and went to the restroom.My uncle’s legs are weak and he fell in the men’s restroom. A young man that worked there was going to help him but he couldn’t have helped him alone.They went to get Brian and he jumped into action. He got the young man to come to the restroom with him and a lady staff member also came to assist.They helped him up and made sure he was okay. He talked to for awhile and except for about 5 minutes or less, he stayed with us until we went outside to get the car to leave.When mom went to get the car, he sat down in one of the rockers. However he was unable to get up.My mom is an organ recipient and soon to have hernia surgery. I try to help as much as possible however I was unable to help him alone.My mom went in to attempt to get him help, and Brian and the young man staff member came to assist him.However, in the meantime, a Good Samaritan lady, who was a registered nurse, assisted us and helped me get him in the car right before they made it outside.However we can never repay the kindness that Brian and his staff gave us last night!!I recommend Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee for the delicious food and great atmosphere; everyone was very nice and greeted you with a smile and made you feel welcome.However I also recommend Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee for its exceptional service on a normal day, but above and beyond service in a difficult situation!!We will definitely return again!!Parking: Plenty of parking and plenty of Accessible parking spaces.“
