“We had a party of 12. We waited 1 hour 15 min to be seated. Four of us got our meal right away, the 11 of us had to wait 1 hour for their meal to be served. 1 didn't get her meal until after the 11 finished eating and she opted to get her meal to go as to not make the rest of us wait for her to eat. “I found this gem of a restaurant via a Reddit thread discussing the best food in Murfreesboro.I brought my daddy here for a late lunch/early dinner today and we were beyond pleased with our decision to try Jeff’s out!I love the feel of the place— very tidy and clean, very homey. They have beautiful family photos in the space and cute decor that all communicate that this is a family establishment, which I love. There is power in the dollar and I believe fully that where you choose to spend your money says something about you. Why go to a chain restaurant when you can support a family-owned, local business like Jeff’s?We were greeted heartily by the kind people working in the front of house. You can’t find service like this anywhere anymore! I love feeling like I’m entering someone’s home, having a meal prepared by loving hands.We both got the chicken and dressing with gravy and it was fabulous. I had spinach and cabbage, both absolutely delicious. My dad said his sides— pintos and sweet potatoes— were wonderful also, and that the sweet tea was amazing!And y’all, let me not forget to talk about their BREAD. My dad got the flapjack and said it was just stellar, that he’s never had anything like it. I tried a homemade yeast roll and found it to be just perfect. “What an amazing hidden gem. We found this great little take out eatery, and this home cooking was mouth watering. The Peach Cobbler and Chocolate Chess Pie were the best way to end this meal. Home cooked meals were just like my Mawmaw's used to make. If you are ever in Murfreesboro and want something different for lunch or dinner to take back with you, this is the place! We will be back.“

“Stayed at the Clarion and only visited here for the breakfast offered the lady that helped us was very personable, helpful and sweet! We stayed for extended stay and their breakfast menu didn't change one bit..maybe a variety would be beneficial In the future!“

“This Cheddar's was THE best. We've been to different locations in Florida, Indiana, and now Tennessee. We were lucky enough to have Jordan as our server. He was amazing. Promote that guy to Senior Staff Trainer. What an awesome experience! I think we'll actually stop here again on our next road trip in hopes of checking in with Jordan.“
“Quality of the chicken is really great and service is fast. The food is also served hot. It reminds me alot of Culver's. Great food and great atmosphere with great service! Highly recommended. Prices are a bit higher than most fast food, but you pay for what you get.“
“We had an excellent time there. Food was good and service was great. The only problem is that we were charged an entertainment fee of 18% on our bill. I strongly believe this should be stated to the customer upfront. The other problem with the fee is that we ran two separate tabs and the first tab there wasn't any entertainment. We spoke to the manager and she said the fee starts when they open in the morning. I don't understand how that is a good business practice. I enjoyed Soul and the Band, but they need to change this.“

The pacing inside was enough so that you didn't feel like you were invaded someone else space while you are.Everything here was good and would recommend it for anyone who wants a great day/night with friends as they even had places inside to view the NCAA tourney.Will be back.“
“Food was good but I don't think they are making as much of the food in restaurant as they used to. Service was good and restaurant appeared to be clean and well run. I did hear the server tell a group the machine they use to make fried chicken was not working so they couldn't make that.“
“The duck pin bowling is my favorite. This is a great place for the entire family. Kid friendly, great food and great place to relax.Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy the duck pin bowling. They can change the game appearance to different screens. Angry birds!“
