“I go for the chicken wings meal with blue cheese dip, green beans, potato salad, sweet tea and garlic toast. The potato salad is just like mom made. They have great catfish as well. Highly recommended! If the smokiness of the wings is too strong for you, I’d say try the catfish for sure or a bbq sandwich. They have a friendly helpful staff. The service is fast so if you’re in a hurry, no problem… even when they’re really busy.“
“Wow! What a great first experience. First, I was impressed with the lady that helped me when I came up to the counter. Excellent service. The pulled chicken was great and the sides were yummy! This is my new go to for bbq here! Retired first responder and from a military family, the decoration is awesome.“
“I have to say the food at LongHorn is top notch and yet costs way less than the fancier steakhouses. I had the Filet Mignon. It was so tender and flavorful. This is my favorite cut of beef and I’ve had it at numerous high end restaurants all over the southeast. This by far is the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the new Parmesan Spinach dip for a different spin on chips and dip. The Chocolate Stampede (dessert for 2+) was over the top with multiple types of chocolate to tantalize your cravings.Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome and small children are accommodated.“
“I usually go through the drive through. Prices are excellent. Food is awesome!! I usually get the pork bbq sandwich with a couple sides, love the Mac & cheese, baked beans, potato salad. I think they have a few more great sides. Wednesday nights are cheaper, but I can’t remember the details. Highly recommend this place for great food and reasonable prices. ?“
“The food, service, and experience was fantastic. We shared the sausage & pickle starter and The Whole Farm BBQ platter. Very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of the food. The presley parfait was dynamite. The live music (The Deltaz) and ambiance were perfect. Great date night. Can't recommend highly enough.“
“I had the pulled chicken plate. Chicken had some good smoke flavor, was quite dry although. The mild bbq sauce saved the day with the chicken. Baked potatoe salad awesome, normally do the fries as they are awesome as well. Overall good meal, cashier not to friendly, but did her job.“
“Jim 'N Nick was a great experience for us and we loved everything about it. The food was well prepared and in a large portion. The waiter was funny and attentive to what we needed. The pacing inside was enough so that you didn't feel like you were invaded someone else space while you are.Everything here was good and would recommend it for anyone who wants a great day/night with friends as they even had places inside to view the NCAA tourney. Will be back.“
“My family and I discovered Fatguy Southern Kitchen while out for a drive in Lascassas. Nestled within a charming two-story home, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience with seating available both downstairs and upstairs. The rustic farmhouse décor adds to the ambiance with wall art that is sure to bring a chuckle or two during your visit. It also offers covered outdoor seating areas where they host DJs for added entertainment during the warmer months. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the food! My family and I indulged in a feast fit for any BBQ aficionado. We worked backwards, starting with a selection of desserts that transported me back to my mother's kitchen. The banana pudding was creamy and comforting, the German chocolate cake was decadent beyond words, and the carrot cake was simply divine. Each dessert was made with love and care, leaving us with satisfied smiles on our faces. Now on to the main meal, we tried the tender ribs, pulled pork, and chicken. Every bite was packed with smoky flavor and cooked to perfection. The Texas taters were a delightful side dish, perfectly complementing the rich and hearty mains. And let's not forget about the turnip greens, which added a refreshing contrast to the smoky goodness of the meats. I can’t forget the Fatguy cornbread; with jalapenos and corn mixed in - a true revelation that had my taste buds dancing with joy.Lastly, I have to commend Mr. Ray and Robert, and their dedicated staff. Their passion for good food and hospitality shined through in every aspect of our dining experience. From the warm welcome we received as we walked through the door to the attentive service throughout our meal, it's clear that they take pride in what they do. Their commitment to excellence is truly commendable and sets them apart as family favorite in the Lascassas dining scene. If you're craving mouthwatering BBQ served with a side of Southern hospitality, look no further than Fatguy Southern Kitchen. With delicious food, charming ambiance, and exceptional service, it's a dining destination that won't disappoint!“
“One of the best BBQ joints that I have ever eaten at. The staff was amazing. Got to talk to the owner and he recommended something new he was trying out. As to what that new menu item is, you will have to go and find out for yourself. I will say this, it was incredibly delicious. But, my favorite item on the menu would hands down be the wings. So tender they just fall off the bone.“
“Saw them on Tenn Crossroads. Excellent food, wonderful, very friendly service and very clean restaurant and restrooms. We got the sampler platter, extra order of ribs, Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Enough for 4 meals!! Get there early and get the strawberry cake! Delicious!! Highly recommend Kinfolks.“
“I've always loved Bob's barbecue. I've been eating Bob's since as far back as I can remember. Disappointed that the barbeque sauce was different. I don't know when that change was made, the last time I had it, it was as I remembered it being. This time it was completely different. It's just not the same. Definitely not as good with that sauce. Everything else is good“
“Love this place and the owner. Im from texas, and we have alot od good bbq down there and since being in Tennessee I havent been able to find a brisket, let alone one that was cooked anywhere close to good- but the second i sunk my teeth into a brisket sandwich at Single tree - perfection! Felt right at home and now its my go to bbq spot.Especially if im able to snag a doco donut for Charlie to make a sticky steer/hog. Which blew my mind.Go try them. If you dont like it, try them again on a different plate.“
