KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Reviews
Absolutely loved our experience at KPOT in Murfreesboro. This was our first time visiting and we were honestly blown away from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding — fresh, high quality, and full of flavor — and the variety was incredible. Having an all-you-can-eat option made it even better because we were able to try so many different meats, sides, broths, and sauces without feeling rushed or limited....read full review
Had lunch at KPOT (Korean BBQ & Hot Pot) this week and it's an interesting way to combine Chinese Hot Pot and Korean BBQ at one table. You can opt for one or the other...or for a reasonable upcharge enjoy both. Our server Jae was incredible...she explained how it all worked and made sure we had everything we needed. You can order a ton of food here, and it is easy to get a bit overwhelmed. In addition to the HP & BBQ, they still have a section (Hot Bar & Sauce Bar) where you can...read full review

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is a lively restaurant offering both Korean BBQ and Chinese Hot Pot in one place. Guests can choose to have one or both at an affordable upcharge, making it a fun and satisfying dining experience. The restaurant features a variety of options, including fresh meats, seafood, and vegetables, with the BBQ items like steak, shrimp, and pork belly grilled nicely, and the hot pot ingredients plentiful and fresh. The broth, called golden chicken, is savory, while the hot pot offers a section to create your own sauces and enjoy finger foods such as fruit, chicken wings, gyoza, and sweets at the hot bar and sauce bar.
Service is mainly self-serve, with ordering done via iPad and staff bringing out the food and refilling drinks, which are limited to beer. The staff is described as attentive and helpful, with some reviews highlighting a particularly great server who explains the process and ensures guests are well taken care of, enhancing the overall experience. The place has a vibrant atmosphere with good music and energy, and it is popular for large groups or those with big appetites.
However, some reviews mention that the soups, especially the spicy hotpot, are not very authentic or spicy enough for fans of Sichuan spice. The overwhelming LED lights and music might also be a downside for those sensitive to overstimulation. The restaurant has a bar for making sauces and a dessert section, but hygiene concerns were noted with shared ice cream spoons. Overall, KPOT is considered the best hot pot in town by some, offering a fun, adventurous, and energetic environment suitable for big groups or those looking for a variety of flavors.
