“As someone who doesn't eat red meat, it is often hard to find good BBQ that isn't chicken as an option. The turkey was tender and MOIST. The "fries" were so tasty I would be happy to eat them as a meal.“

“Food is good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering take out because they skimp you on sauce and food unfortunately. I always have a good experience with the server. He literally runs that whole place by himself. I’m seriously always impressed by him and hopefully he’s getting all his tips and not sharing it with the nuisance/ eye sore that sits behind the counter stuffing her face while scrolling on her phone constantly in front of customers. She’s so rude and has terrible customer service skills. I come here pretty often and she’s always behind the counter doing the same sh’t. When I have to go to the counter to pay, she never acknowledges or even gets her face out of the phone to speak to me for two seconds. I’m in the food business, so I am all about good customer service and handling the tasks professionally. I’m a good tipper and I expect it to be worth it in all aspects. Again, Food is great. Server is amazing,. just not a good experience with the two behind the counter 🤷🏻‍♀️“

“What a great experience! First, food was so good! The sauce on the wings was delicious and I can’t stop raving about the baked beans and BANANA PUDDING!!!! But to top it off, our waitress went above and beyond. She gave us perfect recommendations and offered for us to try the banana pudding on the house because it’s that good… she was not kidding! Then gave an extra serving of baked beans to go because I was raving about them so much! We will 100% be back (regularly)!!“

“Thanks to Edleys on Woodland for their kindness today! My young neice accidentally left her small handbag on the bench, and we were over two hours away when she realized that she'd left it. I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!“

“We had lunch here today and met the friendliest people and ate some of THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. We had smoked BBQ Pork sandwich, Smoked brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra and home made fruit ice tea! They also give you a hand wipe and dental floss. “While visiting our daughter in Nashville, we spotted Jack Cawthon's Bar-B-Que nearby and decided to give it a try. Mind you, we have been smoking meats on our own for many years, so, going to a BBQ restaurant can be a gamble!

Before I get in to the review, we understand that there are a lot of so-called barbeque restaurants around that, in my mind, have no business calling themselves that. If we walk/drive by and don't smell the smoke, I just keep on moving. Jack's, however...

One final note, before I move on, any restaurant that covers their meat in sauce by default, is hiding something. Period.

We both ordered the brisket. Me, I love both the flat and point, my wife, however, prefers the flat, and, when asked, the gentleman with the knife scraped off the excess fat from the flat for her and asked me if I wanted it. Folks, that's how it's done at a real barbecue/smokehouse restaurant!

Our brisket was perfectly smoked and the side choice were plentiful! She got the cornbread, I got the Texas toast. Except for the bread and the veggie sides, it all looked an tasted like it was made in-house, and it was good!“

“They say big things come in small packages. This is a little bitty place surrounded by a lot of other little places at the farmers market in Nashville the most juiciest tenderness, meat best barbecue sauce, macaroni and cheese green beans with lots of flavor best sweet tea. I’m so mad I have to go back to St. Louis and won’t be able to continue enjoying this every week. Thank you guys for one of the best lunches I’ve had so far this year.“

“When i went to the smoke shack, i was in a darker place. My wife just left me for my neighbor, my kids left me for a different neighbor, and my dog was killed by a meteorite. I was devastated. And i was in a wheel chair after i was struck by the same meteorite that killed my dog in a separate incident. But that all changed when i stepped in the smoke shack. Once i opened the door, I could immediately walk again, my wife and kids came back to me, and my dog resurrected to join us. Thank you, smoke shack.“

“We decided on our morning breakfast to try here! It was amazing and the atmosphere and service was amazing…. Amazing menu options and Jams and biscuits. The Bronut was a biscuit stuffed with cheesecake, Fried Green Tomato Wrap and Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelet was just a few menu items of amazing unique meals. We started off with a Biscuit Basket and Bronut (biscuit stuffed with cream cheese filing and deep fried and smothered in a blueberry compote) many assorted jams from mild to spicy. The pepper jams and jelly’s were amazing and flavorful. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, my daughter had the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelette, our son had the Daniels Big Breakfast: and I had the bacon breakfast tacos…. All our meals were great and fulfilling. There potato’s and grits were extremely flavorful and perfect sides! I highly recommend and give this place 5 stars for service, quality and food~ Julia the Kitchen manager was amazing and very warm and welcoming! TK our server was extremely accommodating and helpful!“

“Korean is my favorite cuisine. I was delighted to find this wonderful restaurant. It's in a small strip mall, the exterior is not inviting. Ambiance inside was very comfortable, very clean. Service was professional. One thing I use to judge ethnic restaurants is how many people of that ethnicity are there. Of the several tables occupied I was the only nonasian diner, so I assume authenticity. I had seafood soft tofu stew. It was delicious. Korean restaurants typically serve banchan side dishes, this served them, each was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience excellent Korean dining. I'll be back!“

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload“

But with their prices going way up, we wanted to try something new… I ordered delivery of a full rack of ribs and took advantage of the Bogo wings for Sunday’s football game. Famous Dave’s did not disappoint! The food was out of this world, bbq-licous!!!! One of the order of wings had their Kurveball whiskey sweet glaze. This was one of the best sauced wings I’ve ever had in my life! I stopped by the next day and talked to the manager to complement them on my order, and really, to see if I could learn a little bit more about the glaze they put on the wings. Heather, the manager on duty, was very sweet and although she was no way going to give me the recipe, she did offer some advice on a home made version. Not sure I can get it as good as you guys but either way, we will be ordering again. Can’t wait to try some new selections. This is our go to barbecue joint going forward. I got the short rib lunch special and since it was my first time in she also brought me a sampler of their sides; kimchi, apple salad, bean sprouts, seaweed salad and some type of fish skin. Can not say enough about how good the beef short rib, Korean fried chicken and fried rice were. Service was amazing as well! Highly recommended!“
