“We visited my daughters for the weekend. After being at the pool, we didn't really want to cook and wanted something quick for dinner. We stopped to get BBQ and coke slaw and it was a great choice! The BBQ was very moist, the sauce is delicious and the coleslaw was perfect and the owner is very friendly and definitely appreciated your business! We will definitely be picking up BBQ when we visit again.“

“Let me start my saying I don't ever do this. But the experience I had this Thanksgiving with my order of ham and turkey that I got from Famous Dave's was so freaking fantastic, that I had to share it. My daughter, nor I, generally like turkey. I had decided to order some ham and after some persuasion from my friend, and Famous Dave's manager, Antionette, I ordered a couple pounds of turkey as well. It was, BY FAR, the BEST turkey I have EVER had in my life. The ham was also phenomenal, but we like ham so much in my house, it's not uncommon for it to go quick anyway. However, turkey usually gets thrown out, if we even bother having it. Not this year. We ate every bite and wished we had gotten more. I can't describe adequately how good it was, so I won't try, but I just had to shout out to the whole Famous Dave's staff for what they do over there. The ease it took to make a call and a few days later, pull up and have it brought out made it so easy and convenient as well. A special thanks to Antionette for working so hard to make our food so good and our Thanksgiving this year so special! 5 stars all the way!“

“My wife and I drove from Wisconsin and were staying in downtown Nashville for a couple of days. We were trying to find a BBQ place but I wanted the authentic southern experience. I’m sure downtown Nashville has some great bbq places but I wasn’t looking for a tourist atmosphere. Quick google search found Papa Turney’s about a half hour outside of downtown. Walked inside and I felt at home. Very friendly helpful staff, delicious food and amazing BBQ sauce. Told the lady who took our order that it was my first time trying Collard Greens, figured it was the best time to try some real authentic southern cuisine! Ate outside overlooking the lake with a beautiful view. So happy we decided to them, will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the Nashville area again!“

“I tried Fat Boy’s for the first time a week ago today (10/2). I just came back for the third time this week. And here’s why:

1) Quality - my goodness. It’s smoked to perfection. I’ve only tried the pulled pork and brisket. I’ve got the brisket back to back times, and it’s incredible.

2) Price - bbq joints give you a quarter pound of bbq and a slice of bread for $20. I got easily over a half a pound of brisket, double order of fries (quite decent too), and a BOMB cornbread pancake. $14

3) Service - these people genuinely like working there. I talked to the smoker and one of the elderly people that have worked there for a while. Great down to earth people.

This is my SPOT now. I’m stoked I only live 2 miles away. I know I sounded like an influencer, and I am not. This place is that freaking good“

“The welcoming hello every time I have been to establishment is A1. The customer service and warm hello and be right with you are impeccable. Now the food is reasonable and delicious like ALWAYS 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the portions are huge. I love how you can get a 1/2 quesadilla if you want and not a whole. “I did think it was rather pricy..for 2 people..a pork plate and wings, came to $30. The establishment doesn't have paper towels to provide to their customers if they eat there, which you would think a bbq place would have a bottomless supply of paper towels on their tables. They supply you with those little wet napkins that are a joke. I did think the food was good and quality made.“

“We're new to Mount Juliet, so if this is super well-known, bare with me. But we just ate probably the best barbecue I've ever had. Whitt's BBQ is amazing! Hands down. The pulled pork plate with Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce, the brown sugar baked beans, the potato salad, and the even the cornbread has a unique and amazing taste and texture..all absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back already!“

“I don't normally eat at chain restaurants but Martin's had so many rave reviews I have it a shot. The ribs and Mac and cheese were amazing. The pulled pork and brisket were both really good but not the best I've ever had. The only thing I didn't like was the cornbread hoecake but I'd definitely go back next time I'm in Nashville.“

“That chorizo egg and cheese burrito was so good. Ordered one at like 430am and it was perfectly cooked. Didn't know a tortilla could be so perfectly golden brown! The burrito fold wasn't perfect but it didn't matter with how good it was specially with the hot sauce!“
