“We had lunch here today and met the friendliest people and ate some of THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. We had smoked BBQ Pork sandwich, Smoked brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra and home made fruit ice tea! They also give you a hand wipe and dental floss. I highly recommend if your ever in the area.“

The waiter brought out the wrong dish for my husband, but as soon as we brought it to their attention it was quickly corrected. Just be aware that the chili flake topping is an extra $1 & they also charge for the pickles on top of the curry bowl as well, which we thought was interesting because it was never mentioned beforehand. “They say big things come in small packages. This is a little bitty place surrounded by a lot of other little places at the farmers market in Nashville the most juiciest tenderness, meat best barbecue sauce, macaroni and cheese green beans with lots of flavor best sweet tea. I’m so mad I have to go back to St. Louis and won’t be able to continue enjoying this every week. Thank you guys for one of the best lunches I’ve had so far this year.“

“Delicious! It was everything I could ever hope for in soul food! This was my first time having turkey ribs and they are out of this world! Greens and cabbage are great. I went with my buddy, We just ate and didn’t talk to each other until all the food was gone. He remarked the pulled pork was best he ever had. Can’t wait to come back!“

You have 3 options of gravy for the biscuits and we enjoyed the tomato as well as the brown gravy with sausage. We preferred the potato triangles over the home fries. “I found this place by chance on a road trip to Cumberland Falls. The meat was so flavorful, I couldn't add the BBQ sauce. I wanted to savor the meat. The BBQ sauce was so good though I found myself dipping my potato wedges in it. Hash brown Casserole was amazing. It was so good, I stopped again on my way home. I know they're sharing a spot inside a gas station but ya'll I'm telling you, it was fire. Both times. Did I mention me & my adult son ate until full for around $20 bucks? I had pulled pork & he had jumbo Chicken Tenders.“

I think some peoples expectations are not that of traditional southern fried whiting w/onion, mustard,hot sauce? Who doesn't eat it freshly served for maximum experience? I get some have to carry home, but don't expect hot fried food to be hot and crispy when ya get there. My $.02.“
