“First time eating here tonight. I ordered the three meat combo with brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey breast. All three meats were pretty good, but the smoked turkey really stands out. I am quite picky about my BBQ, and this was some really good smoked turkey. I ordered baked beans and tater salad, the beans were decent, but I didn't like the tater salad, pretty sure it's made with miracle whip and that's a no go for me... My wife had the brisket Mac n cheese bombs and deviled eggs. She really liked the eggs, stating they tasted like hers and she makes amazing dressed eggs. I think the brisket bombs needed more meat, way to much Mac n cheese and hardly any brisket. We will be back, but I know a few things that I won't order again!“

“We went to the Road House in Hendersonville. Our server, Philip was top notch! Definitely delivered that “legendary service”! The food was excellent and the wait time wasn’t too bad considering it was a Sunday. Definitely going to be going back for repeat meals!“

“My boyfriend and I travel there maybe every other weekend from Georgia the customer service is great. The food is fantastic and there’s always a line so expect to stand. The food is so good. You have to get there early or else they will run out.“

“they can update their hours saying that Sunday is optional and they open if they feel like it we spent money ubered here and it's not open you can at least put call in advance to verify if we are open not a good way to run a business“

“We spent a long weekend in Nashville and the meal at Drifters was by far the best we had! The smoked wings were so good they didn't need any sauce and the pork was amazing. Great little place and wonderful staff. We're so glad we checked it out!!!“

“We're new to Mount Juliet, so if this is super well-known, bare with me. But we just ate probably the best barbecue I've ever had. Whitt's BBQ is amazing! Hands down. The pulled pork plate with Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce, the brown sugar baked beans, the potato salad, and the even the cornbread has a unique and amazing taste and texture..all absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back already!“

“We are here tonight as one of the things on my list I have to eat at one more time before we move to another state next week. I will start by saying I am a huge fan and have have been since he only had one shop. When I drive Uber and riders ask where to go for BBQ I always sent freer to Martin’s and to try redneck tacos with brisket. I never tell people to go to places that I don’t eat at myself. I was reading thru the reviews and this one I felt the need to respond to. Great food but feel they should give you more 🤷🏻♂️ I always like this particular type of comment. No intended disrespect to this customer. Having worked in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years, the restaurants are there to make some profits as well. The cost of giving people a “living wage” and the cost of the covid-related supply chain issues have given owners two options, raise prices and wages or be forced out of business. A well run restaurant always tried for about 30-35% food cost and about. 25% cost of labor. That left in the neighborhood of 40% to pay everything else like rent, utilities, insurance and all the other monthly bills plus all the taxes that continually rise. If you own a building with a business in it the taxes went up tremendously after everything had been shut down by covid. At the grocery store the prices of most meats have almost doubled, other prices people think have stayed the same, the packages have shrunk. We ate at this particular restaurant the commenter was rating. I ordered what was supposed to be a meal for one person with two sides. I at about 2/3 of it and had to give up. My wife couldn’t finish her regular plate with two sides. Was the price high, yes, but the food was great.“

“My friends and I went here a few months ago. I ordered the Brisket Smoke Show bowl and everything in that bowl was amazing. The food had some much flavor and I enough to take home (it was a really big portion). I need to go back and try more items but it is a really good spot for Southeast Asia and Texas mix food.“

“Ordered whiting sandwich and reg fries and Coke. Large food servings. Food was hot &fresh! I think some peoples expectations are not that of traditional southern fried whiting w/onion, mustard,hot sauce? Who doesn't eat it freshly served for maximum experience? I get some have to carry home, but don't expect hot fried food to be hot and crispy when ya get there. My $.02.“

“Oh. My. God! The food and service were absolutely AMSZING! My husband is super picky when it comes to country fried steak but not with this one. It had flavor, richness, just good Ole comfort food. The atmosphere was amazing too, at one point a gentleman came in the waitress greeted him and she asked him what he would like he told her oh you know the usual. This type of diner brings so many memories back from my childhood, absolutely loved it! Can't wait to go back again!“

“We just left this establishment about 30 minutes ago on Monday January 19th 2026 and had some of the best service from Brianna. ( I think that was her name I forgot to take my receipt home)
Also hats off to the chef back there that knows how to cook a proper steak. My steak was not only delicious but perfectly cooked! Thanks for a great night!“

“Visited Jack Daniel’s restaurant in Nashville and it was an absolute treat! It was hard to find in the huge hotel, but glad we did. The whiskey flight was perfectly curated — a must for any whiskey lover — and each pour was smooth, flavorful, and expertly presented. The food was just as impressive: the smoked dishes were bursting with flavor, tender, and perfectly complemented the drinks. Excellent service and attention to detail throughout. Highly recommend!“

“The woman running the drive through was so nice and friendly. We had a brief chat about the age of our children while the food was prepared. Our food was fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that the Mac and cheese seemed to be bland and the noodles slightly over cooked.“
