I read about the restaurant on facebook. My son has a birthday tomorrow and he loves good fried chicken. We ordered family pack of fried chicken, and sides. The chicken was really good, macaroni and cheese, and fried okra all prepared well and we all enjoyed it. There is a need for southern soul food in this area and this hit the mark.
Having grown up in Kansas City, I have been around excellent bbq all of my life. I must say that Kinfolks ranks among the best bbq that I have had! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is just like many of my favorite places at home. The people are very friendly, I felt like they welcomed us in to their home! I will definitely come back the next time that I am in town!

Kinfolks BBQ (Smoking Grill On Wheels Food Truck) offers a true southern experience with hardworking, wholesome and caring front of house/kitchen staff. The ribs are fall off the bone with great smoke flavor, the smoked turkey is tender, tasty and juicy, and the smoked bologna sandwich is one of the best bologna sandwiches ever. Sides include loaded mashed potatoes, smoked cabbage, fresh cut fries, and amazing mac and cheese. For dessert, there is cheese square pie. Customers describe the food as incredible and delicious, with some of the best bbq they have ever had. The family pack 2 is highly recommended, even by self-proclaimed bbq snobs. The customer service is excellent, with polite staff who provide a helpful and nice experience. Ordering over the phone is super easy. The food truck is right by a gas station that allows parking in and out. However, some reviews note the restaurant may have closed, as calls go to a full mailbox.
