Excellent southern style food. The white beans and hush puppies are delicious.
I have lived in Nashville for 12 years and have always wanted to eat here but never have…I finally visited and am SO HAPPY I did. From the outside, I didn’t expect much from the restaurant but inside I got everything I wanted and more. When we arrived we were happily greeted at the front and immediately seated during lunch on a weekday. The fried chicken could be less salty. The catfish pieces are smaller than they used to be. The waiter wasn't very good at all. He needs to focus on the customers. We'll try it again to see what happens. It's a Nashville tradition that needs to stay around for a long time.
